    mercurycub.

    [hr][justify][size=8]Mercurycub couldn't really say he had a good amount of friends. Perhaps he could consider his father as one, but other than that -- nothing. It wasn't that he didn't find anyone his age, but it was more of the fact that he lacked motivation to try and make friends. Mer knew friends were vital things to obtain, but nonetheless, the mountain lion cub was falling short.

    While he was trying to give himself a mental peptalk, he found his way towards the exit of camp. Was he still too young to go and explore? Maybe by himself, but if another person showed up . . . the possibilities were endless.

    Stereokit was no different- she was not motivated enough to make the friends she wanted. The only one she needed was her brother, but he'd gone to some other clan. She loved her brother dearly, but she felt she did not suit Riverclan. She wasn't really a fan of swimming, to be honest.

    While there were plenty of other clanmates around her age, she was rather shy. She preferred her new hobby, painting, over the company of other clanmates. They were too loud for her quiet ways. Although, sometimes when there was a huge snowball fight, she joined in with as much enthusiasm as the others. It was fun when there were many people and not much of the focus was on her. Besides, in a snowball fight she could win with stealth, since her pelt blended perfectly with the landscape.

    She still had some paint on her paws when she spotted Mercurycub. Sterry smiled lightly at the cougar cub before wandering over. She knew what he was going to do, seeing as he was right by the exit. Because she hadn't actually stepped foot outside the camp since joining, she might as well join him if he was going out to explore. "Hi." Before realizing that they hadn't met before, she blurted out, "Are you gonna sneak out?" Good thing she was naturally quiet, or they might have gotten in trouble. Stereokit wasn't sure if they were allowed out of the camp either, but it was good to be safe.

    [hr][justify] >> omg i totally didn't see thiss !! so sorry ;o;;;

    Mercurycub whipped his head around in fear for it could have been a warrior or someone with more power - even his father. Mer would give anything to let his father down, so he was thankful that it was Stereokit. He remembered the lass vaguely from when she allowed others to watch her paint a while back. Mercurycub could recall quite clearly the beautiful intricacy the femme had. If only he had an ability quite like hers.

    "Oh huh?" The cougar cub perked up when he noticed it was simply a kitten much like himself. Although he was a bit larger than she was - purely because they were difference species - Mer hoped that Stereo wouldn't fear him. He was really just a big sissy. "Well, I, uh," Would he admit to his potentially risky business? He looked cautiously around him for anyone who could hear before turning back to the snowy white lass.

    "I was. I just wanna see what's out there y'know? I haven't really been able to explore yet." Mer continued, confession his little dream to Stereokit with a hint of a smile on his maw. "Want to come with me? It'll be fun. Promise."

    Stereokit wished she knew her father. She would try to impress him every chance she got, but no. Her brother had to be the one that met their father, not her. She bet that her father would like her more if he saw her painting and stuff.. But that was all beside the point. She was watching for any warriors coming by, instead of thinking these thoughts.

    She faced Merc again when he started to speak, her head tilted to the side just slightly. The girl didn't even notice the size difference- and there wasn't anything she would fear. A clanmate didn't hurt other clanmates. That was a thing she appreciated around here. There weren't those dumb dogs always chasing her from the camp like they did in the twolegplace. Most of the people she met were polite as well, unlike most of the older pets she used to know. She would've punched them in the face if she weren't so shy from some of the things they've said before.

    Sterry could understand why Mercurycub wanted to explore. Curiosity was a little quirk of hers, and she wondered what it was like outside of the walls of camp. Though, she wasn't sure she would actually sneak out. "I-I don't know.." she said before looking down at her paws. She had been doing well with the eye contact so far, but this habit kept coming back. She hesitated for a moment, then straightened up. "Okay." You know what they say... yOLO.

    [hr][justify]Yolo was exactly right. Grinning like an idiot, the cougar cub dashed towards the exit with a great sense of adventure about him. Hopefully they wouldn't get lost. The duo took a few minutes of walking and eventually he found himself in a forest filled with lots of prey and very tall pine trees. Tossing his head over his shoulder, he hoped to see the snowy white figure of the beauty following behind.

    Although she was small- even for her own age- she managed to keep up. Her paint-covered paws stood out in the snow, but at least they weren't making a trail. The paint had dried up already, so there wasn't a worry of being followed except for the footprints made in the snow. Sterry blinked her amber optics, looking up at the tall pine trees. Her world was growing bigger with every footstep she took.
