  • There's another one--not the same, but a red, fox-like creature. Except not. The purple thing turns to look at it, and so I begin to edge around the tombstone, trying to make no sound--what the hell is happening here? I'm trying not to freak out. Then it speaks to me--the purple one. At least, it's trying to. And I open my mouth--nothing coming out, and I realize how stupid I must look--terrified by little cat things. "Are you...a cat?"

After he finished, the young tom shook his fur to get rid of the scattered feathers in his fur, grumbling softly to himself.

Eminence noticed the smoke and a puzzled look appeared across his face. What in the...? "Are you... are you okay?" he asked hesitantly, wondering what in the world could possible cause such an odd occurrence. Was it simply a fireferra trait, much like his own handful of powers? That was when the weird creature answered his question, although it was with another question. Was this conversation going to always be this one-sided? Eminence turned back to face the human, listening to it's words. A cat? Really? the nyari thought bitterly. What an insult! "No you fool, I'm a nyari! A royal vampire nyari," he snapped, his tail giving a single irritated lash.

  • xD I love this.

I jerk away as it snarls, and by now I know it's saying something. I just..don't know what. But it's angry, so I take a leap of faith, and kneel, jeans in the grass. "Sorry! Sorry!" I hold my hands up. "You do realize I have no idea what you're saying, right?" Now, it obviously didn't like what I said, so I'm guessing it speaks English. Maybe it is an alien. Then I pause, wrinkling my nose. "Is that...smoke?"

  • "I'm fine." Snaps Bloodlust. Unfortunately for him, his ear tips catch on fire again. Mousedung! He thinks.

Click on a Bloodlust so he grows!

Chill pins her ears, the timid Ferra couldn't help but growl at her surroundings. She was one of the smallest ferra breeds yet know. She shrinks farther back into the shadows, her. Pelt darkening to an almost black.

  • Mitas

Ic ~ "Mintfang" "Flarepelt" "Mirrorwing" All these names were of clan cats... Strange. Nightlock couldn't flatten the fur on his back, and was he really seeing shadows zip by out of the corner of his eye?

  • Stonecub - 2/60

She continued to wander around, catching an unusual scent.

Juniper barks, tilting her head at Chill as the ferra leapt approxamently three feet straight up, letting out a shriek and darting the other way. This cat was quick for a ferra. Faster then most she had seen. The puppy barks again and races after the misterious ferra. Flame tail flickering behind her.

"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE DEMONS!!!" Chill shrieks as she darts from shadow to shadow, the mysterious dog creature not wavering in its chase.

OOC: Me too! xD It's amusing.

Eminence flinched when the human began to kneel, feeling immediately embarrassed for the sudden fear. It was just so large! He listened to it speak again, the sudden reveal that he couldn't understand making a ton of sense. Well, that would certainly make communication interesting. What was it even doing out here anyway? Perhaps it had gotten lost? The poor creature didn't even have any fur to shield itself from the night's chill! His gaze shifted to the fireferra when he replied, though the "fine" didn't seem so when it's ear tips ignited. "Are you certain you're okay? Most creatures I know don't have combustible appendages."

  • Stonecub - 3/60

In the distance, a howl pierced the air and she froze.

Wes continued to pad forward with Knox right behind him.

  • Stonecub - 4/60

She spun in a circle, her pelt bushing out as she failed to see where the howl had come from.

  • It's so small, up close--I can see it's fur, and I bite my lip as it jumps back a bit--is it scared? I inch back, and watch as it turns to the other creature--who is smoking. But there aren't any yelps of pain, just...annoyance. In their faces.
This is a strange night, and I wonder if I'm just really, really drunk.

She still couldn't find anything, so she continued on.
