Kuro sat patiently at the edge of the ThunderClan border. It was time, he decided, for a change in his laid-back life. He knew lots about the Clans of the forest, and studied the Warrior Code often. His kittypet life was a bore, and he knew in his heart he wanted something more. So, he thought, it was time for a change.
The only thing he brought with him from his kittypet home was the golden and blue necklace his twolegs had given. He supposed that since they had tried to take care of him so well, they deserved some honor. The necklace itself, however, was special to him as well. He enjoyed the gleam it gave off when perfectly angled in the sunlight. He grinned as he thought of the first time he had caught a bird, wearing this necklace.
But he shook his kittypet memories away. He then focused on the worries and important things. He had no idea how to fight like the 'Warriors' he had heard of from his loner friends. And he had only caught prey once, so he would need help with that, as well. His kittypet backgrounds would not sit well with the forest cats. But a determined gleam blazed in his eyes. Let them think what they want about me, the black cat thought. ill learn anyway.

Kuro started when he saw the bear. Clearing his throat, he stood a little taller. "My name is Kuro, and I have come to join your Clan." The black cat replied.
