• Snap had never been on a patrol before, let alone led one. But after having heard about them, the pale brown feline couldn't help but be curious. And curiosity couldn't be cured unless you actually did something. She had noticed that there were no patrols to go on, so heck, the ex-kittypet would do it herself.
She stood near the center of camp, standing up as tall as she could. It was really hard to gather any attention around here. Most of her clanmates were these huge jaguars or dogs or stuff. Young, short apprentices were obviously not what everyone paid attention to when given the opportunity.
After taking in a few long breaths, she started announcing, or rather, screaming about the patrol. "HEY, DOES ANYBODY WANT TO GO ON A BORDER PATROL?" Snap yowled, feeling her voice go as she said each word with a strangely long pause. She had never had to be so loud in her life. Looking back on it, maybe speaking normally would be the way to go. Some of her clanmates had extrasensory powers. They would be able to hear her without having to put effort into her speech.

• [fancypost borderwidth= 0px; width: 400px; font-family: arial; letter-spacing: 1px;]

"Me!" Goodnightpaw said, making her way over. Being mentor-less was okay in her books. Silently, the black and white smoke sat by Snap, sea green eyes on the female. Being new and going on a border patrol would be beneficial to her, helping learn the territory.

• [fancypost borderwidth=0]The apprentice mumbled something about others being too loud, but padded over obediently. "Yes, miss, I'll come," Cinderellapaw said gently.

• She watched the three other WindClanners gather. It was nice to know that at least she had caught the attention of a few of them. Most of her other clanmates were busy with their own conversations, after all.
"Alright. We'll head out now. If anybody wants to, they can tag along with us." A small group was probably the best choice. They'd probably lose focus of the actual patrol with too many members. Not to mention a walking mob would be too difficult to guide.
Looking at Cinderellapaw, she scowled. "And don't call me miss. I'd bet we're around the same age." Snap was a highly informal cat. Terms like miss and mister were completely bonkers in her opinion.
Pointing her tail in a random direction, the apprentice started trotting off, assuming the rest of them were following close behind. She would have no clue where to go, so Snap was just going to walk until she reached what seemed to be the border. Not like they were anywhere close just yet, but that would be how this would all play out.

Voidstep, in fox form, trotted hastily after the patrol, having decided to join them at the last moment. "I'll come along." he informed Snap as he fell into step beside the others, gravitating a couple of paces away from the rest of the patrol out of habit. He was trying to become more social, but he still preferred to remain on the outskirts of groups, where he was most comfortable. After a few heartbeats, it occurred to him that he was the only warrior here. It didn't bother him at all - it was just an idle thought.

• This was a large patrol. One more wouldn't be too bad. Gentlesky padded up to Snap. "I'll come," meowed the ginger warrior. Her green eyes flickered as she took her place in the middle of the group, waiting for it to begin moving.
