Sky looked back at Midnight." I'm a part time guard." Said the blue pegasus.

"You are?" He said. "You never told me that before."

Sky raised an eyebrow." You think?" She said. Then flew ahead to the train.

"So..." He said as they flew towards the train. "...does Canterlot still have the shield or something? The one to fend of changelings"

Sky looked at him." Yeah but it's weak. So, I'm going to let more unicorn guards do the shield." She had a proud feeling." I'm taking over as one of Celestia's guards."

"Oh, well that's cool." He said, as they got on the train. "But do you think the shield is still necessary?"

Sky nodded." Yes," she had a look of sorrow." They've already tried to take the form of a guard to get in so the princesses aren't taking any chances."

"Oh, okay..." Midnight said, not liking any of this. "...but you said the shield was weak. Does that mean a Changeling could just walk right in?"

Sky looked away," I don't know." she said.

"Oh, don't worry I'm sure no changeling would get in." He said, although he really wanted the opposite of what he said. "I think we're nearing Canterlot right now."

Sky started to get up." ok, ill tell them that you are my guest.' she said walking to some guards.

As she talked to the guards, Midnight stared at the large shield that covered the city. He wondered if it was weak enough for him to enter.

Sky looked back at Midnight. " Hey," she said." they said it's fine that you come in." She looked back at the guards as they opened a passage in the shield. " come on." said Sky High.

"Cool..." Midnight said, trying to look calm. But in the inside, he was sighing in relief. "So where are we heading now?"

"Celestia's tower," she said." I'm meeting Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and Twilight there."

"I'm allowed to come?" He asked, curiously.

"I don't think so," she shook her head." But I'll ask."
