Perhaps there was still a chance? "He is and it appears I've gotten on the wrong side of him. I came to see if Thunderclan would have my back if push came to shove with him. I guess, though, if you're allied with him and we end up becoming enemies, it could end our alliance," she responded as smoothly as she could though her anxious manner was being displayed by the constant twitching of her ear. If that did happen, it wouldn't really surprise her. It'd been a dangerous alliance to begin with and, in hindsight, maybe not an entirely good one. Oh well, no going back now.

Personally, Hannibal would choose Darkclan over Windclan due to Windclan's neutraility that made them useless in fights or wars but Windclan was an old ally, which meant everyone else would side with them.
