OOC:I think Branchpaw is almost ready to become a warrior.~
With a flick of her ear, Mistflower opened her maw. "Hopefully my den is dug out soon. I'm going to need some place to store herbs while we can still find them." She muttered. Rising to her paws, she hobbled over to the warriors working on the dens. "Need any help? I might not be much use, but I can do something." She meowed, pointing her tail to her missing leg.
Letting out a mraow of laughter at Sageheart trying to puff himself up so much, Milkfrost, licked at her chest fur quickly. Nodding to the choices of where to sleep, she decided she'd probably sleep in the grass since it'd most likely be warmer there. The wind in the branches would make her cold.
Perking her ears, Branchpaw nodded to Sunpaw as she dragged a vine over. "Thanks though!" She meowed happily. The apprentice was glad to finally see the cats working so easily together, especially with the cats from the other clans.

Honeyfern trotted over to where the former physician's den was and began to dig.
Boulderleap shifted his weight from paw to paw, stumbling for his words as his kits stumbled for balance on their incredibly young limbs. "Vixenheart..." He sighed, stepping forward and pressing his nose into her fur for comfort. He lifted his head just enough for her to be able to hear clearly. "Patchstar informed me that LionClan was gracious enough to let you and the kits stay in their camp until ours is repaired. Pebblespot and I were told to help you move them there." He reiterated in a woeful tone.
Blazetalon turned back to face Echolight head on. With a mischievous grin, he tackled her, making them both caked in mud.
Sunpaw smiled as thanks to Branchpaw, turning to Flickerpaw. "Hey, can you help me with this?" She asked innocently.
Patchstar crossed the river that marked the end of camp and continued through the territory, making his way over to LionClan territory to retrieve more grass.
-
Flickerpaw stared at the she-cat with a deadpan expression. Shrugging lamely, he stated, "I'll help anyone who needs it, what do you need help with?" Luckily their previous task had not been too straining.
Grassfoot finally felt some of the scattered thistles on her paws and she could tell the camp was near. Sniffing the air, the she-cat could pick up her clan-mate's scents. As she ventured towards the sound, she could feel dry, unfamiliar grass on her paws. Must be the Lionclan grass. She knew she was on the right path and bounded across the path and into the camp, dropping the fish in the pile of mixed prey smells.
-
Vixenheart looks up at Boulderleap and touches her nose to his ear in a comforting and loving manner, "It's alright...I would rather have them somewhere safe even if it's in another clans camp than here where it's so dangerous." She meows and closes her eyes sadly. "We will come back when the camp is fixed...and maybe you could visit if you take a break from rebuilding?" She offers with false enthusiasm, it wasn't likely that he would be allowed anywhere near the camp, father or not, he was still an outsider invading and encroaching on territory that was given as a small favor...it would be best not to push the boundaries further. And with that she turns and looks at Rubblekit with a pained smile before reaching forward and lifting him by the scruff in order to carry him away.
-
A confused, short squeal enacted from the kit's maw. He became limp as he was being carried by his mother. Rubblekit fell quiet then and remained that way.
"I'm going to help dig out Mistflower's den." Sageheart meowed as he turned towards the den he spoke of. "Wanna help out, Milkfrost?" He looked over his shoulder to ask, a cheery smile on his face. The tom was not yet tired, so he hoped that digging would help him excerise his muscles before going to bed.
-
(Hey guys I think my friend problems are going to be fixed tomorrow so I'm a bit better.
Mottledusk grabbed some sticks out side camp.
Lostbuffer grabbed some dirty moss cleaning it with a puddle it looked a bit better.
Silentpaw walked around camp looking for Patchstar.
-
Perking her ears to the question, Milkfrost nodded, "Of course, Mistflower would love if her den was dug out soon." She purred, her tail flicking towards her sister. As would be expected, the Physician was a bit grumpy about her den being filled and gross.
-
Boulderleap shook his head forlornly. "We're already pushing our luck by using a small portion of their territory and allowing you to stay in their camp. I'm afraid an all-out war could wage if we push their boundaries." He pulled Spiderkit towards him and licked his forehead.
Spiderkit gave a comforting mew.
Boulderleap smiled bittersweetly before looking Vixenheart in the eyes; his silver and hers emerald green. "It will be much safer for all four of you there. I know this is for the best, but y the gods, Vixenheart, I'll miss you," he stated emotionally before picking up his other son and picking his way down the tree, still careful even though the tree was a bit more slanted. With Vixenheart by his side, his tail wrapped around her, he stepped gently onto the sand/mud. He set Spiderkit on his paws to keep him from getting muddy as he addressed the lieutenant. "Pebblespot, can you get Streamkit?" He meowed, worry and pain still evident in his voice.
Sunpaw pulled the vine up with her teeth, her head momentarily facing the darkening sky. As she locked eyes with the apprentice once more, she smiled, spitting out the vine. "We need this to wrap around the branches and hold them." She explained to Flickerpaw.
Patchstar stepped onto the unfamiliar territory. It was so foreign to him, a concept of an empty territory on the surface, but teaming with life beneath the grass. he picked up a stalk with his teeth and immediately crossed the river back into his own territory, heading back to camp.
-
Pebblespot nodded to Boulderleap. He picked up Streamkit with gentle care. He gave a glance to Boulderleap then to Vixenheart, as if considering if what they were doing was the right thing. He pushed that thought aside. Of course it was right. It was for the good for Boulderleap's family. Pebblespot double checked the grip he had on Streamkit to make sure he had a good hold. He flicked his tail for the parents to follow him as he starting walking to Lionclan territory. When he met the stream surrounding the camp, he walked along the shore, placing a single front leg in front of him to test the shallowness. Once he found a shallow enough crossway, he began to cross, holding his head high to keep the kit he was holding out of the water. Once he was across, he waited for Boulderleap and Vixenheart to catch up.
Sageheart chuckled as he nodded to Milkfrost. He padded over to Mistflower's den to see several cats already in the process of digging. He joined them, squeezing in between them before beginning the task of pulling away the earth.
-
Flickerpaw mentally hit himself for not figuring that out himself. Oh well, it had been a long day and the apprentice hoped the camp would get rebuilt rather quickly. Turning his thoughts back to Sunpaw, he nodded sharply. "Alright, can you hold the vine in place right there and I'll wrap it around?" He scooped up the loose end to the plant and cocked his head slightly.
-
Honeyfern looked over to Sageheart, who was digging next to her. Their paws rounded and claws sheathed, turning them into scoops, they unearthed Mistflower's den. she laughed aloud as she accidentally splashed some dirt in Sageheart's face. "I'm sorry, dear." She meowed sincerely before she continued to dig.
Boulderleap brushed up against Vixenheart comfortingly before following Pebblespot's lead, Spiderkit limp and loud in his gentle jaws.
Sunpaw complied naturally and tucked one of the vine ends under one of the anchoring branches, holding a paw down for extra security.
Patchstar waded back into camp, nodding his head to Pebblespot and the parents as he passed by. He set the straw down where the warrior's den would soon be and trotted lightly over to where the apprentices were building their den. Nodding at the two at first glance, he realized that they were the only two that seemed to be working. He turned to Flickerpaw. "Where are your other denmates?" He inquired in a somewhat annoyed and exasperated tone.
-
Once the other end appeared to be secured, Flickerpaw moved around the frame of the den, weaving the vine in carefully whenever it seemed fit. This was a very large vine, so it was easy to wrap it around the branches twice with enough left over to tuck in. With the end of the vine, near Sunpaw's end, he dropped in in between the parts on the vine, pushing it down through the two so it wouldn't slip. He continued this process until he ran out of vine.
"There. That should do it. Now I'm not sure if we should try to secure a vine near the top part of the branches to keep them from collapsing, but I doubt they would anyway. They are anchored in pretty tight." -
Goldenflight put the sticks up, and come running to help Sageheart and Honeyfern. He sighed a bit, beginning to dig, "Sorry for being such a mousebrain, Honeyfern. I'm new here and I'm just confused." He replied, trying to dig fast and make it less work for Sageheart and Honeyfern, as he was late to this duty.
-
Honeyfern glanced at Goldenflight to acknowledge the warrior before returning to her digging. "It's perfectly fine, Goldenflight. We have plenty left to dig. This tree is rather huge.' The medicine cat apprentice from TigerClan commented. "If it makes you feel any better, I know this territory about as well as I know what Tellus' claws feel like." She admitted, continuously digging.
Patchstar rolled his eyes. "Flickerpaw, answer me. Where are your denmates?" He questioned in an authoritative tone.
Sunpaw looked up to Patchstar, feeling slightly guilty about not keeping tabs on them, but she kept quiet. After all, this wasn't her clan and the question wasn't directed to her.
-
((Whoops, didn't see that! ^^"))
Flickerpaw looked up from the worm towards his lord, who didn't seem too pleased. He frowned, a bit confused by Patchstar's question. Then he realized it seemed the Lionclan apprentice and him were the only two working on the den. "Err....Branchpaw was here a little while ago, I don't know where they went off to, maybe to gather supplies?" He realized that answer probably wouldn't please Patchstar, to which he quickly added, "Im sure they're around here somewhere, I can look for them if you want me to."
-
Echolight yelps and thrashes around in the mud, her blue eyes widened in shock at the sudden attack from Blazetalon. There was no way she could get up with him ontop of her and her fur caked with layer after later of sticky and heavy mud. She grunts and falls still, her eyes narrowed up at her attacker.
Streamkit mews slowly come to a stop as she curls up against Pebblespots chest, her tail and legs tucked up as far as she possibly could to avoid snagging on anything or dipping into the water or mud that she had ready found to be very cold.
Vixenheart follows after Pebblespot and Boulderleap with a sunken look in her eyes, she should've been happy that they were all going to be safe...but a nagging part of her called herself a coward for leaving, even at lord Patchstars command. She lifts her head high to keep Rubblekit out of the water and twigs sticking up from the mud like unadorned flag poles.
-
Goldenflight mewed a bit, "Thanks." He replied to Honeyfern, climbing in to this hole and begun digging.
-
Pebblespot continued on towards Lionclan territory all the while choosing safe paths to keep what they were transporting safe. He kept on, and as he did he gradually felt nervous. He had never been in Lionclan land before. It made him feel slightly uncomfortable about wandering in unknown territory.
Sageheart merely laughed after shaking his head free of the dirt."Perfectly fine, miss." He continued digging but after a while once the dirt was gathering high behind the digging group, Sageheart climbed over the mud hill. He started digging away the dirt there to provide more space for more dirt.
-
Letting out a quick yawn, Milkfrost headed to the Physicians den, where she was going to help dig out the mud. Noticing Sageheart digging the mud out from the entrance of the den, she padded to the pile to help him dig it out. Digging at the mud with unsheathed claws, she shook her right paw and complained, "I'll never get the mud out of my claws." She muttered.
-
(To chemericals, it's all cool. You didn't see it, so I went ahead and pretended Flickerpaw just wasn't paying attention to Patchstar and have him react so you would see it. No big deal. :3 )
Patchstar turned to Milkfrost and padded over to reply to her. "To all those digging, it's best to keep your claws sheathed and use your paws to scoop the dirt out. Like foxes do." The lord explained to those rebuilding the physician's den.
At the sight of Echolight's blazing blue eyes looking up at his through narrowed slits, Blazetalon slowly got up and helped her up as best as he could, ashamed of himself. "I'm so sorry, Echolight. I forgot completely that you aren't used to the mud..." He sighed, visibly distraught. "To be completely honest, I had allowed myself to forget that you're still thought to be in another clan. And that was wrong of me. I was simply trying to be playful, but I realize now that a crisis situation is certainly not the right time. Again, I apologize wholeheartedly." He bowed his head in shame, his tail sinking into the mud, along with his spirit.
The only father in LeopardClan passed the LionClan border with his separation patrol. Forlornly, his tail trailed into the roots of the grass as he trudged beside his mate and behind his lieutenant.
