This is meant to be a friendly holiday event; If we feel that partakers in this raffle are having an overly-heated debate regarding anything, we will politely warn you to cool it. If we feel that a post contains offensive content aimed towards any group of people, regarding nationality, religion, sexuality, race, gender, etc., we will delete the post and privately warn the offender. i. Do not steal our templates. Every item in this raffle is ours; as templatists, one of the greatest offenses to us is when people steal our work. We have put our templates in quotes, and will continue to put them in quotes until we hand them directly to you via private messaging on Christmas day, so as to protect them from "window shoppers." ("Window shoppers" being people who visit the thread without posting and use the quote method to copy the coding.) However, if you remove our copyright/credit, change the template in any way, or give the template to someone else for them to use, we will view it as theft. If you create a template by "referencing" our templates (aka, a template that looks very similar to ours due to your using our templates as coding references), we will view that as plagiarism. To prevent misunderstandings, we will always message supposed offenders of this rule to confirm whether it is a mistake or not your fault (i.e. your template gets "window shopped" and one of us sees a person with your template in their post so we message you). Offenders will be reported if they fail to restore copyright/credit, undo changes made, or add our credit where it is due (in the case of "referencing" our templates). Anyone who claims our template as their own either by selling/giving it away in a shop/contest, or using it as an example of their own work, etc., will be immediately reported, no questions asked.

ii. Do not change or make edits to the template you receive. If you get a nice hand-made toy for Christmas, do you paint it over, or take it apart and try to put it together again so that it doesn't look the same? (We're desperately hoping you're not small children by using this analogy.) No, that would be extremely rude, wouldn't it? So don't do the same thing here, please. When we message you on Christmas day with your template, it will still be in a quote and you won't receive the code right away. This is because we will be waiting for you to say whether or not you want us to make changes. We will only be changing color schemes, images, and decorative text/lyrics. We will make the changes, not you. If you make any changes yourself upon receiving the template, it will be viewed as theft. You will receive one message pointing out the changes and politely asking you to fix them. Failure to comply or a second offense will result in your being reported. As mentioned in the rule above, we take theft of our work very seriously.

iii. Only one number per person. There is a set of numbers down below (somewhere on the thread, obviously). If you wish to enter the raffle, choose an untaken number, and post it in your first post on this thread. (This does not apply to people who have been tracking this thread from before the raffle officially began. Trackers from the five-day pre-start phase will have to post again after the start of the raffle.) All numbers are first-come-first-serve. You may not change your number once you have posted one, and you must post a number in your first post on this thread. (Again, does not apply to pre-start trackers.) Each number is assigned to a template; however, which template a number stands for will remain anonymous until you actually get the message on Christmas day.
