Basking in the sun

    Sunta lay on the stone fench outside of her two-legs nest. The sun warmed the stone to the perfect tempater. She purred happily.

    Bronzepaw padded through the territory happily. The place seemed to... calm her. Which was strange; considering most Twolegs disliked the forest cats, like her. Bronzepaw leaped up to a fence post, her haunches swinging side to side.


    Bronzepaw padded along the fence silently, looking around from the forest to the large white den things the Twolegs slept in. I wonder where they get their fresh-kill? Their size isn't that convenient to hunt for mice... , Bronzepaw thought, looking at the tops of their strange dens.


    Bronzepaw looked down, and saw a cat with a tight thing around their neck.


    "Hiya! Are you a kittypet? Whats that thingy around your neck? Are you warming your fur? Where do Twolegs get their fresh kill?" Bronzepaw pelted her with questions, cocking her head to the side, her long tail swishing happily behind her on the fence.

    Sunta looked up and yawned."Hm?"she mewed dazed."Yeah I'm a kitty-pet is that a problem?" Sunta rose to her paws and stretched."Um the thing around my neck is a collar two-legs use it instead of scent to identify us. Yes I'm warming my fur and the two-legs get their fresh kill from a store,"she yawned. She looked up at Bronzepaw."I'm guessing your a forest cat?"she mewed her sleepiness melting away and her young energetic self beginning to rise once again.

    "No, not at all... I've just never met a kittypet before!" Bronzepaw mewed, suddenly embarrassed by her questions. Bronzepaws eyes widened at the at the answers. Not using scent? And using a little annoying ring thingy to identify their own cat?


    "Yep, I'm a forest cat. An apprentice, and becoming a warrior soon" Bronzepaw said, straightening up proudly.

    "They are. They are really tall too" Bronzepaw agreed. "I come from Sunclan" Bronzepaw nodded, avoiding the fact that she known none of her kin. She did... but they had been gone for a long time. Bronzepaw hoped they were happy in StarClan... because she really missed them.

    Sunta nodded."Yeah I've been seeing a few Sunclan cats passing through here. In fact some even live right next to my garden."

    "The scents of the flowers smell good... Almost as good as the forest air. I love the forest, but being a kittypet must be fun too" Bronzepaw nodded. The colors and scents of the gardens were comforting, and Bronzepaw felt beautiful just sitting in the midst of the gardens.

    "Yeah it does smell good, I've been in the forest before,"She mewed."I'm not like those soft lazy kitty-pets though they're nice to talk to but as for me I like adventure."

    "The forest is pretty nice. I think living with Twolegs wouldn't be too bad, but I hear the food tastes awful, plus I would miss the warm taste of fresh kill and running around in the forest after awhile" Bronzepaw mewed, trying to imagine life without protecting her clan and hunting to feed her clanmates.

    "Yeah....I often hunt when a mouse gets to close to my two-leg's nest,"she mewed."The female two-leg is afraid of them. Can you believe it afraid of food. And the two-leg is much larger them!"

    OOC:I said Exploring in big letters because remember the Exploring bit in Brody's territory?I've done a bit more rping in it and i just wanted you to check if the thing i put in was OK with you. :P


    IC:Cherry sprang up onto the fence.
    "Hey Sunta,up for a little adventure into Brody's territory again?"Cherry purred to her friend.
    She padded over to Sunta and settled down.
    "Remember last time,...that was quite fun and cool...and i well...want to go there again with you since your my friend, and Brody is my friend to.....,"She added hastily,"So you up for a bit of EXPLORING again?"

    "It's afraid of food!?!! Hmm. Twolegs really are odd!" Bronzepaw purred. Twolegs were odd creatures... Bronzepaw cocked her head at the stranger. "Hi!" Bronzepaw mewed cheerfully.

    "Hey,you must be BronzePaw...i've seen ya 'round a couple of times...so ya Sunta's new friend yeah?"Replied Cherry in the way she talks sometimes...at random..wierd..times...
    "Well if you made ya way to here then you must know ya way 'round?"She added,still in her voice she talks at random...wier-you know what i mean-...
    "Well see ya 'round!"
    She sprang off of the fence. When she landed she turned to Sunta.
    "So whenever you want to go to Brody's territory just let me know and i'll be there as soon as i can..ya know what i mean?"
    Without waiting for an answer she turned around and rushed into the bushes.

    "I just came here a couple minutes ago. I guess I do. Since I'm an apprentice, I'm not exactly a living breathing map of our territory" Bronzepaw meowed, thinking on the subject of her territory, and it all coming as a blur.
    "See ya!" Bronzepaw called.
    Bronzepaw looked up to the sky. "I think I may have to go too. The hunting patrol will be leaving any moment now" Bronzepaw mewed. "See ya around!" Bronzepaw called over her shoulder as she sped into the forest.

    Sunta waved her tail in good bye."See ya!"she called. With that Sunta jumped off the fence and went exploring once again.

    Cherry rushed to Sunta's side.
    "Did you think you could go exploring without me knowing?" Cherry purred to her friend.
    She followed Sunta as they explored.
