[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 315px; height: auto; margin-top: -15px;]
Having decided to do a solo border patrol in an attempt to wake herself up, Englishpaw could be found slowly making her way around the edge of Windclan's territory. She doubted that she would find anything, but the cool wind made her feel like she wasn't going fall asleep on her paws, so her trip was serving its purpose. With a small smile on her ivory maw, Englishpaw continued on her way, occasionally stopping for a quick break or to check out a scent that she didn't recognise. It was nothing out of the ordinary though, and the apprentice decided that she would probably go back to camp fairly soon and see if anyone would be willing to help her with her hunting skills or something.

  • Her blue eyes settled upon the young she-cat, and Witchingstar just stood there with disbelief being showed on her face. Was she right in thinking that this was her daughter, one of the babies in which she had left in BloodClan, who she now, looking back, felt sorry for leaving behind with their father. She hadn't thought about Rytlock much until now. She hated him though, for what he did to her.

But how could she hate her own kits?

"Uh... Englishpaw?" she asked the apprentice, not moving closer, staying exactly where she was, in case it wasn't her kit and they grew angry and attacked her.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 315px; height: auto; margin-top: -15px;]
She didn't recognise the older female at first. Although she thought about her mother often, Englishpaw had forced the image of her out of her mind. She didn't dislike her mother, but she had always wondered why Witchingstar had left her and her littermates in Bloodclan. Englishpaw had hated it there, but didn't feel as though her mother truly wanted her, which was why she had chosen to go to Windclan.

At the sound of the voice, the apprentice turned, her cerulean eyes wide. "H-how do you know my name?" Englishpaw asked, trying to figure out why she felt like she knew the other feline. It didn't take long for her to realise. "Mum?" She mewed, her voice rising an octave. "What are you doing here?" The young girl bounced on her paws for a moment, not sure how to react, before moving forwards and attempting to nuzzle her mother. She had missed having family around.

  • "I don't know! I was just out and about and then I saw you and... well, thank StarClan you're safe. I am happy to see you out of BloodClan... it isn't safe there for you guys. Listen, I know I shouldn't have left you there, but I was hurt and angry... can you forgive me?"

She then walked closer and attempted to nuzzle her daughter. "I missed you, sweetie. You've grown a lot since I last saw you."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 315px; height: auto; margin-top: -15px;]
Englishpaw had left Bloodclan as soon as she was old enough to and made her way directly to Windclan. She just didn't fit in there and she knew that she never would, so the femme had left before she had formed any real ties. Of course, she missed her siblings and wasn't sure where they were. For all she knew, they were all still back in Bloodclan. But it was nice to hear that her mother cared about her.

A purr rumbled in her chest as she made contact with the older female. "I forgive you," she mewed with a twitch of her whiskers, drawing back and sitting down. At Witchingstar's next comment, a light giggle escaped her maw. Englishpaw had grown, but she was still noticeably small for her age. "People still mistake me for a kit," she told her mother, a smile on her face as she spoke. Usually she found it quite funny, so it wasn't much of a problem.

"Do you know where any of the others from my litter are?" Englishpaw asked with a tilt of her head. She wasn't sure if Witchingstar would know, but it was worth asking. The female would have liked to visit them, but she had no idea where they were and didn't particularly want to make another journey to Bloodclan. She knew that they weren't all bad, but she had left for a reason and didn't want to go back for any reason.

  • "Well, you're still very small, so that's probably why," she grinned. "You'll always be my little duckling, sweetie. And don't you forget that. Oh, and, also, if you ever wish to visit me in Thunderclan, then please do! Your half sister, Diamonddust... she lives in the Covenant, but she came to stay in ThunderClan for a while not long ago, so you're always welcome, too. You'd be able to meet some of your other siblings, like Warmaura... she's a deputy of ThunderClan, you know! I can tell you all about your family, if you want, my beautiful daughter."

Then she heard the question and sighed. "I don't, sorry."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 315px; height: auto; margin-top: -15px;]
The small smile on her maw grew as her mother told her some of the names of her family. She hadn't heard of any of them before, so it all came as a surprise. Of course, Englishpaw had assumed that she would have family in Thunderclan, but it was different actually hearing their names. "I'll definitely visit," she assured her mother with a nod. The young girl would definitely want to meet her family. But for now she was happy just to hear about them. "You wouldn't mind telling me about them?" Englishpaw asked, cerulean eyes widening. She had assumed that her mother wouldn't have enough time to stay for very long, but she was pleased that she was wrong. "I would like that."

  • "Well, some of your half-siblings are dead, like Frogstar... he was a ThunderClan leader, too. And quite a few are missing... but I'm sure Warmaura would absolutely love to meet you, sometime. You can come whenever, and I'll make sure everyone is welcoming to you." She then tried to lick the she-cat's head, trying to groom her, to show her daughter that she loved her, even though they'd only just spoken for the first time.
