  • "I'm going to walk you. I'm not going to let you leave without protection. " Jake said kindly, ignoring the chill in the air as he walked after Stormy. He felt an incredible urge to stay by her side and protect her, which he knew he could do for only so long before she found out what he was.

  • Stormy smiled slightly. "Okay." She says, flipping her hair over her shoulder. She waited for him to catch up before walking at an easy pace. She stuffed her hands in her pockets and looked around the forest.

  • Jake easily caught up to her after shutting and locking the door behind him. He walked close beside her, stifling a low growl as his wolf could smell the rogues nearby. They were definitely a danger, and needed to be dealt with.

  • Stormy

I hear the bushes rustle and turn to look. I stop walking and narrow my eyes. "Anyone there?" I call out, raising an eyebrow. A low growl fills the quiet air, and two more follow. I gulp and back up, standing next to Luke. "Wolves." I say quietly.

  • Jake's muscles rippled, a deep growl ripping from his throat in return. He cleared his throat, his arm around Stormy and pulling her away swiftly, back towards his house. "Walk slowly to my house. Do not run." He murmured softly as he handed her the key, his eyes glimmering.

  • Stormy took the key but didn't move. "What about you?" She asks, gluing her feet to the ground. She wasn't leaving without him. She didn't understand why he wasn't comeing either. ( so sorry low muse)

  • "I've dealt with this before, Stormy. Go! " Jake growled lowly, keeping his eyes averted away from Stormy as he crouched, watching the shadows carefully. "I'll be okay. " He rumbled as his fists clenched tightly.

  • Stormy bit her lip, but nodded. "O..okay." She says reluctantly. She turns and does as she was told, to walk, to the house. She got there, unlocked the door and went inside. She leaned against the door and sunk to her butt....please let Luke be okay... She thought.

  • ((Luke? It's Jake))

Jake waited until Stormy got in the house, his body tensing and rippling as he changed to his massive wolf form. "You are not welcome here, rogues. This is my territory. " He snarled as he shook his fur, bounding into the bushes.

  • (( lol sorry ))

Stormy heard growling outside the door and hugged her knees to her chest. She took deep breaths and hoped for the best. Please don't get hurt Jake..please... She thought, looking to the ceiling.

  • Jake snarled as a smaller wolf stepped out of the bushes, his ears shoving forward and his tail raising. Jake huffed and crouched, suddenly slamming into the wolf and snapping and biting at him harshly. He got a firm grip on his shoulder, tossing the wolf away only to be barreled into by a much larger wolf. He yelped as he felt fangs digging into side, pushing and scrambling to get a grip.

  • Stormy

Suddenly I didn't hear Jake, only wolves. I frowned, instantly thinking the worse. I couldn't help myself, I did before I thought. I got up and swun the door open. "JAKE!" I yell, looking around for any sign of him. There was none. In my search for him I didn't notice six pairs of wolf eyes on me. I gulp, frowning. I was such an idiot.

  • Jake's ears swung up as he heard Stormy's ear, shaking off the wolf and slamming him into the ground. He raced to the door, crashing into a wolf and ripping into their throat before they could reach Stormy. He was much bigger than any of the wolves, especially as he pulled himself to his full height, howling protectively as he stood his ground in front of Stormy.

  • Stormy

I was frozen in fear and couldn't move, even when the biggest wolf came barreling towards me, but that wolf stopped and turned around. It howled and got in a defensive position. I was confused but still shocked and frozen in place. My right hand was in a fist and hovering in front of my chest while the left hung loosely at my side. The wind blowed my hair gently, and I was freezing, yet I still didn't, no couldn't move

  • "Stormy, get back in the house. Now. " Came Jake's voice, rough and thick. Jake was crouching, awaiting the next wolf as blood dripped down his flank steadily. He easily caught a wolf as it jumped out, biting its neck harshly and throwing it ruthlessly back into the bushes.

  • Stormy

Jake! I thought, spinning around, looking for him, the fear gone at the sound of his voice. But it quickly came back once I realized I didn't know where he was could he be the...nah, that's stupid. But I was not going back in there without him. "No! I'm not going back in there without you? Where the h.ll are you anyway?!" I say stubbornly. This was unusual because I was normall never stubborn.

  • Jake huffed as he was tackled by another wolf, yipping as its fangs ripped into his chest. "Right here. Fighting. " He said reluctantly, ears flattening as pain coursed through him as he fought hard.

  • Stormy

My eyes widened. He was the wolf. I ran inside and searched everything until I found a sledge hammer. Why and where? I don't even remember. I sprint back outside and the wolf on Jake was still on him. I wait till he was ontop before smashing the opposing wolf in the head, causing him to go limp. I kick him off of Jake. I look at Jake, who was apparently also a wolf, and worry filled my eyes.

  • Jake's ears pricked as the wolf atop him went limp, growling lowly on frustration as he saw Stormy. Luckily, he had done a swell job of scaring off the wolves, and getting injured. His paws were shaking slightly but a deep, territorial howl tore out of him, seconds after the wolves ran away. His body trembled and he shifted back to human in a Grint of intense pain, blood apology steadily from bitemarks and gashes.

  • Stormy watched Jake turn and ran to his side, putting his arm around her neck and helping him back to the house. "Come on, let's get you patched up." Stormy says, laying him on the bed. She pulls out bandages and starts to treat his wounds. She found a first aid kit in his kitchen. "How are you feeling?" She asks, not even worrying about the whole wolf thing.
