Jake was hovering over her, one hand resting on her forehead. "Just try to sleep it off. " He rumbled quietly, tempted to get closer, feeling something stir within his mind. He blinked and pulled away, smiling faintly.

I nod and smile slightly. "Alright." I say, feeling a little spark. But as quick as it came it vanished. I shook it off. I closed my eyes slowly, a small yawn escaping my lips. My body finally fell into the dreamworld, and I was now asleep.
-
Jake shook his head and pulled the blanket over her, resting his back on the bed frame and closing his eyes. He drifted off, keeping an ear out for danger.
-
I slept soundly, rolling over in my sleep and laying my head on his lap subconciously. I was unaware of these movements but I was suddenly more comfortable. I curly up into a ball beside him, warm and comfy.
-
Jake stirred as he felt a heavy weight settle in his lap, opening one eye to see Stormy's head in his lap. He old faintly and wrapped an arm around her protectively before dozing off again.
-
Stormy only stirred slightly at his touch, but found it to be comforting, so she didn't awaken. She felt a sudden sense of protection and safety wash over her as Jake placed his arm around her. She ad not felt like this in a very long time...and needless to say, she enjoyed it.
-
When Jake awoke hours later, it was nighttime and he felt an ache growing in his chest. He needed to run and badly. He gazed down at Stormy, biting his bottom lip and shifting his weight before getting up carefully without disturbing her.
-
Stormy felt this and her face turned into one if confusion and sadness. She didn't like this sudden vacancy feeling she got all over. She hugged a pillow to her chest, looking sad as she slept. Her dreams became blank and dull.
-
Jake sighed heavily as he saw the frown crossing Stormy's fave, leaning close and kissing her cheek. "I'll be back soon. " He promised before he took off, barely able to wait before he shifted to his massive wolf form, darting into the woods happily.
-
At the kiss and the promise Stormy smiled a little. She buried her face in the pillow and fell into a deeper sleep like state, already feeling better as she slept. It was nice to sleep peacefully. (Low muse sorry)
-
(It's okay. )
Jake raced along the forest, letting out a deep, bellowing howl once he knew he was safely away. It felt good to be in his wolf form, his eyes sharp and ears pricked.
-
Stormy awoke suddenly. She didn't know why. She yawned and stretched, looking around to find no sign of Jake. Must've went to another room or something. She thought to herself. She stood up and was able to walk. She felt a heck of a lot better . She opened the bedroom door to find every light in the house off. Odd. "Jake?" She called out.
-
Jake at the moment was huffing, scenting the air and growling lowly. There were fellow Werewolves nearby but they smelled like rogues. He turned and raced back to his house quickly, the hackles on his back standing up. Jake's ears pricked and he shifted in mid leap, panting heavily as he opened the door suddenly and walked in.
-
Stormy screamed when suddenly the door opened. It scared her to death. She let out a breath of relief when it was only Jake. "Sh.t Jake, you gave me a heart attack." She says breathlessly, leaning against a nearby wall and clutching her heart. She noticed him panting heavily and stood up straighter, a look of concern on my face. "Hey, you alright?"
-
Jake flinched as Stormy screamed, moving quicker than he knew he should have in front of her. "Out for a run when I hear wolves. Big ones. " He rumbled as he gently gripped her arm, his eyes glinting in the darkness. Jake wrapped an arm around her waist protectively a moment before he turned and locked the door.
-
Stormy gulped. "Oh." Was all she said. She didn't know wolves were native to these oarts. She had been in the forest so many times without anyone. She could have died. Wow, it kinda made her nervous. You could tell she was scared, just by the way she stood and the way her face looked. It's not that she was afraid of wolves, she was afraid of death.
-
Jake's stomach clenched tightly as he saw the look on her face. Almost instinctively, he stepped close and brought her into a tight, yet gentle and warm hug, holding her close. He didn't want her to be afraid and yet she was, making his stomach hurt.
-
Stormy was surprised by the sudden action, but she enjoyed it. She wrapped her arms around his torso, burying her face in his chest. He was a good foot taller than her at least. She was short. She was five five, he had to be at lease 6"5. But tall was a turn on for her so...she let out a shaky breath and tried to calm herself.
-
"You're safe with me. I promise. " Jake said quietly, not wanting to let go of her. Yet his wolf was growling deeply, wanting to fight the wolves away and tell them who's boss in town. If he did though, he would get hurt and undeniably have to come back to his house in Wolf form and probably scare the crap out of Stormy.
-
Stormy didn't say anything at first. Then, she did say something. "I know." she said, quietly. She knew it for a fact though, she could feel it, she just....it was undeniable, she was safe with him. Not matter what, no matter they met two days ago, she just knew she could trust Jake with her life. "Thank you again...for everything." she murmurs into his chest, not wanting to let go and praying he wouldn't let go of her anytime soon.
