  • Meet Moreen Kane, most people just call her Mo.
Imagine walking through you're whole life feeling like people are staring at you. Or, not so much you, but your fiery hair and very pronounced set of freckles on your face an arms, and your deep sea blue eyes. Mo feels this way pretty much any time she's around anybody but her family, at least her immediate family. Yes she comes from a long line of strictly Irish blood lines, her Mother and her father are both first generation Americans, but she's the only one in her family that has such a... Striking appearance. She's never quite though of herself as pretty. Unique? Of course, she might even describe herself as exotic or intriguing, but not pretty or beautiful. Nope, neither of those. She doesn't have the flawless tan skin, sun bleached blonde hair or gorgeously curved body that is necessary to be considered pretty in the world we live in. She's a short, beanpole of a girl with hardly any curves, flawed pale skin and this unruly red hair. Nobodies ever tried to convince her she's pretty either, nobodies ever really taken any interest in her except to gawk at her different appearance. Until now.

    Plot
Mo has, as stated above, never felt pretty. As every girl deserves to feel. Her parents never even reassured her that she was beautiful, they say she's unique, and that's what they love about her. But when a new boy come into school, a Junior just like herself, as a recruit for the Basketball team he immediately takes an interest in the shy little Irish girl with the thick accent and the thicker hair. He can't explain why a tall, handsome jock like him falls for the little quite girl, but sometimes love doesn't need an explanation. But when their romance starts getting in the way of his schooling and his scholarship for basketball his parents try to pull them away. So will he choose to fight for the odd little girl, or just drift back into the life he knew before and try to forget those deep blue eyes?

  • (I'll start us then ;D)
Mo stands alone in hall, quietly spinning her combination lock, 14-42-26 she thinks to herself, sighing in relief as she tugs on the lock and it easily comes undone. it was quite embarrassing when she spun the numbers wrong and the lock wouldn't open. Of course, she conciously knows nobodies looking at her. After the initial shock that is, well... Her. She was often very easy to just ignore. She opens her locker quietly and places a few things inside, drawing a few things out as well and stuffing them into her beat up dark blue backpack. She finds herself glancing over as a new kid is paraded down the hall by pretty much the entire, obnoxious basketball team. Right to his new locker, which just so happened to be right beside hers. Oh, she had such impeccable luck; please note my sarcasm.

  • Kade walked down the hall with his friends from the basketball team, which was pretty much everyone, until they all disappeared to find 'their girls' or something to that effect. He glanced down at the paper he was given for his schedule and locker number and combination, then was pleased to see he was at his locker. He bit his bottom lip gently as he looked at the small girl to his left, and couldn't help but to notice how beautiful she was. "Hi," He said with looking at her for a moment before he tried to open his locker. "I'm Kade."

  • Mo looks over at him with a faint smile as she shuts her locker slowly. "Pleasure ta meet ye, Kade... My names Moreen, but most people just call me Mo." She replies softly in her thick Irish accent. She glances over at hin and does a quick sort of checkout of the new male. Tall, handsome, seems nice enough... Yeah the girls are going to eat him right up around here.

  • Kade smiled at her politely and finally got his locker open with a relieved sigh. "So, is there anything I should be aware of from a girl's point of view, here at Jefferson High?" He asked Mo, glancing over at her as he took off her jacket and threw in his book bag, grabbing the books he had though he knew he had to get some more supplies tonight.

  • "I just moved here not long ago myself... I won't be of much help to ye." She says softly and offers another tiny smiles as she pulls a jacket frm her backpack and shrugs it over her shoulders, zipping it up to around the middle of her stomach before slinging her backpack on over her shoulders. "But I suppose I should suggest tha' ye stay away from the cheer team... Nothin' but a dirty bit 'o slappers they are. Open their legs more than their books.." she says quietly and shrugs slightly at him. "Well I'd best be of. Pleasure meetin' you Kade." She says with a slight dip of her head and then turns and heads off down the hall.

(slappers is slang for sluts by the way cx)

  • Kade watched her leave silently, a small smile playing on his lips before he shut his locker and looked down at his paper, looking at the rooms around him before he started heading in what he thought was the direction. It turned out to be, and reached his class, Biology, quickly, which was always good for the male. He introduced himself to the teacher then sat where the man told him, taking his fingers on the desk quietly as he waited for the rest of the class to file in.

  • Mo moves into the class wth not a moment to spare as the bell rings and she slides into her seat. She's in the same class as Kade, though she doesn't sit beside him. One of the beautiful busty cheerleaders she'd spoken of had sat there. She's flirting relentlesslywith the new male as they speak and Mo glances over, offering him a shy little smile before turning her attention up onto the teacher. Mo herself doesn't have a partner, they got to pick their pairs and nobody ever wanted to sit with her, not with all the beautiful blondes and brunettes around.

  • Kade had talked to the cheerleader for a few minutes before she asked for his number, and then he realized what Mo had actually been talking about. She had continue to pronounce his name wrong, even after he corrected her a few times, and was obviously sticking out her chest for his attention, though he seemed more focused on the fact that no one was sitting with Mo, and he was trying to take notes.

  • Mo sighs softly to herself as the teacher announces the beginnings of a group project, that would be done at home and on their own time. He also states that they can pick the partner of their choice shouod they be so inclined, or just stick with their lab partner. Mo sighs lightly to herself and scribbles down the particulars of the assignment off of the board as the professor hands out some worksheets.

  • Once the teacher announced that Kade got up quickly and walked over to Mo, sitting beside her with his books as he heard the cheerleader gasp. He didn't even look at the other girl, tilting his head to the side as he looked at Mo. "Willing to be my partner?" He asked politely, not wanting to jump right in on the project without her approval or disapproval of what he wanted, which was to work with her.
