Peacefulkit was out roaming the forest, constantly looking over his shoulder with an almost frustrated expression before pushing on again. He had sneaked out of camp, not wanting anyone to see him go off by himself. He had been told before that he should not leave the safety of the area, but he knew that he could handle himself. At least, he hoped that he could. He had been so hidden away from most things at his old home that he didn't have the knowledge of direction entirely. But he'd just let his paws take him wherever he went and would go from there. As he padded forward, the sight of a fallen tree came into his view. Quickening his pace, he approached the object, raising his head to try to spot the surface of the wood. Getting down to a crouching position, he'd wiggle his haunches before springing up on the side of it, his small and not very effective claws barely digging into the bark. He could feel himself slip, his grip weakening as he started to flow backwards. Clenching his teeth, he would place his hind paws on the tree, trying to support himself as he fought to get up on top of the log. After a few moments of strong effort, the child had been able to reach the top of the fallen tree, breathing heavily as he lay on the bark, looking down at where he had just been and the rest of the woods, a bit of a satisfied feeling coursing through his veins. With a smirk, he'd get to his paws, his chin held high, back straight, and short, fluffy tail pointing upwards with his success. It would seem that he was shouting in his head, shoving it in various and familiar faces of his past that he could do things, he could accomplish something without help. Would they tease him now, seeing how majestic he was looking at the moment? Dale chuckled and looked down at his paws, toes tapping lightly against the surface.
