Lily had Ezra turn around shoot her breath weapon and pushing her forward. Ezra opened her wings and covered Ridddrick. blinding him and giving her enough time to bust ahead and across the Finish line. She knew what she did was considered cheating but in a real live you do what you can to win.
*Robin gave a huge hearty whistle and Jay landed with a thump. He swung himself onto the saddle and fastened his legs in the braces, then let Jay shoot back up again, his blue wings pumping strongly. They were behind but... Had the race even started yet? They followed, behind. Jay pumped his wings hard as he could, never giving up even when the odds were against them. Robin just leaned forward and let Jay do his thing. He did know one trick that could help. He gave Jay a double tap and they shot upwards, over the cloud level so that they were high above the others, the school a tiny apple sized place. Robin kept the quivering griffin steady with his legs, waiting for the oppurtune moment

Luna got up from all the noise outside. She quickly tossed in some clothes and woke up her dragon, Eclipse. Leading Eclipse out, she saw that a rave was done and yawned sleepily. "Enjoy the race?" She asked, giggling a bit. She whipped her brown hair up into a ponytail and stuck her hands in her pockets. Eclipse nudged her gently, looking up with bright eyes.
Lily sat on Ezra waiting for the others. It would be time for her first class soon and she didn't want to be late."What's taking you guys so long. Come on. We don't want to be late to Our first class." screamed lily. She hoped they heard her. She was starting to get bored.
Luna grabbed Eclipses saddle and strapped it on firmly. Hoping on, she grasped her dragon tightly and Eclipse outstretched her wings. Eclipse flapped her wings boldly and sat in wait for an order.
[color=deepskyblue][font=impact]Sleepily, Catori opened her eyes as a shaft of sunlight hit her face from the open window. "Aw man... Luna must've opened it." She thought sleepily. Sitting up and shifting so her feet rested on the floor, Catori stretched, squinching her eyes shut tightly before opening them to the now-familiar sight of her room. Looking over at her desk, she grinned at her small dragon companion, Jynx, entangled around her lava lamp.
"Silly dragon..." She sighed to herself, moving forward to wake the lime green and black dragon up. "Come on, Jynx. Time to start another day." Poking one of her wings, Jynx made a small grunting noise and slowly unwound from the lamp.
By the time Jynx had uncurled herself, fallen onto the desk surface with a small thunk, fallen asleep again and then finally rolled off the edge, Catori had dressed herself in a comfy olive colored top, her riding pants, and her soft leather riding boots. Laughing softly at the disgruntled dragonet, Catori quickly brushed her flaxen locks and braided them into a single tail.
"Come on, let's go. We've got a little time to give Chance a warm-up before classes start." Grunting, Jynx hauled herself up off the floor and glided onto Catori's shoulder. "Fiiiine." Jynx complained inside her head. "I'm ready." Nodding, Catori headed out of her room and down to the stables.[/b]

Kassy squeaked as the breath made Riddick knock her off, she gulped then whistled. Riddick let out a cry and dove down, facing his back twords her. Kassy streached out and grabbed the hilt of his saddle, pulling herself into Riddicks saddle. His wings jetted open before he hit the ground and he softly landed, Glaring angerly at Ezra. "HEY!" She called out to Lilly and growled, gripping his reins as he started to walk. Riddick growled and let out a deafening screach at Ezra, smacking the dragon with his frozen wings, very angry. Riddick growled and opened his beak, he couldn't bear his teeth but that was the closest he could do. Kassy pulled on its reins, "come on Riddick we got to get some new gear" she sighed and rubbed his neck fur down and tugged on his reins.
Luna looked over to the crashing for to find Catori had finally waken up. She waved and glanced back at the scene. She pave her dragon a pat on the neck. "Oh, I got something for you." She smiled at her dragon.

*Robin looked down to see that the race was already over. What the hell? Jay let out an angry screech, shooting towards the ground without being told to and landed with thump, his wings flared out. He turned his back on the dragon and griffin, waiting for Flynn

Riddick folded his wings by his side as Kassy hopped off, her hand grasped around the reins as she lead him twords campus. As she approached she remembered something, there was new gear she had to get for Riddick. She pulled on his reins as they went through the front door, and heading into the office. The desk lady noticed Kassy and fittled with something on her desk before grabbing Riddicks tack from the pile. Handing her the new tack before handing her a set of speed goggles, and a outfit. Kassy patted Riddicks neck, and they sat outside, putting on Riddicks new tack. The tack was ment for high speeds and drops, yet no reins, which ment she had to figure out something to tell Riddick where to go. Kassy looked at the outfit she was given and tilted her head, they were leather and looked tight. She looked at Riddick who tilted his head aswell, he chirped and stood up, grabbing the outfit in his beak.
*Jay shot upwards, too lazy to wait. He did wide loops, lazily. He wasnt even trying today. Robin urged him to pull his turns tighter and they spun faster. They then shot upward and Robin decided he needed a morning rush. He unbuckled the leg braces as they climbed and fell backwards off Jay, who looked a little confused because he wasnt signaled to follow. Robin closed his eyes as he rushed towards the ground then whistled. Jay shot down, like a feathery bullet. Robin grabbed the saddle and pulled himself into it, tapping Jay once and he leveled out, slowing and doing a lazy circle before landing. Jay yawned but Robin was fully awake now
Flynn watched most of the 'racers' disperse, off to their various activities. That was a short race. Quill seemed to agree, and let out a small cree as they landed. "Yeah, I know." Both rider and griffin were fiercely competitive, and didn't like to lose. Even if it had been a blurry, undefined race. But Robin was still around, and Flynn used his knees to direct Quill over to where Jay had landed. "Hey! Birdie, you still up for a better race?!" He grinned excitedly, and hopped down from the saddle. By safety rules, Flynn should've been buckled in. But he had a habit of pushing rules, and trusted Quill enough to know she would catch him if need be. "But, this time we should probably know the course and stuff before it starts."
*Robin smiled. His nickname always made him smile. "Always! And lets just try the obstacle course? Whoever gets through first wins. So..." He pointed to the course. "We start at the starting line, duh, then go our respective routes around the big rocks, up and over the big fake mountain thing, skim across the water without beating your wings, and then around the pole sticking up in the water and back to the start. You got that?"
"Hey robin, you don't want to be late to class. Race you there." said lily and then jumped onto Ezra and took to the air.
[color=deepskyblue][font=impact]Catori gave a wave back at Luna before unlatching the gate and heading into her griffin's stall.
"Hey, good morning Chance." She said, walking up to him and stroking his neck feathers. "You ready for a quick warmup?" Chance growled an enthusiastic reply. Turning to get his tack, Catori smiled ruefully at the old set that she had left. She'd have to find some time to do a little personalizing on the new one before inspections rolled around. With a practiced ease, she smoothed on the turquoise and black blanket, strapped on the saddle, and put on Chance's bridle.
Leading Chance out of the stall, Catori stopped alongside Luna. "What's up?" She asked. "Is everybody racing again?"

Luna hopped off Eclipse and used the dragon as a tough pillow to rest her head on before class begun. "I think it just ended. It went by so fast." She smiled at her roommate. She sat up and looked at her dragon. Eclipse looked down at her with the familiar dragon type smile. "I'm gonna set up Eclipse real quick." She said to Catori before heading off to the stables to fetch the tack. She pat the dragon and put the tack on.
