    Amber-ShayleynPermafrost Shinohara was seriously considering changing her name. It was a huge mouthful, and Shayla sounded much better. Shay for short, Shayla Permafrost Shinohara if she wanted to confuse people. Eh, I'll decide later, she thought, rolling over onto her back and watching the sunrise. It was certainly beautiful here. Amby was glad she had decided to get active here. Everyone seemed nice, though she hadn't made many friends yet.




    "Anyone want to go on a patrol or something?" she called out. Maybe she could meet new people or find a cool twoleg scarf somewhere. She had seen people wearing woolen ones, but she wanted to find a pretty silk one. Ooh, and maybe a flower crown. Hopefully someone would have left one lying around somewhere; Shay was useless at making them herself.     Batter silently padded up to her, tail lashing. His green eyes showing no emotion. "Hello." He said simply before sittng down and curling his tail over his paws. He stared at her and studied her for a couple of seconds. Hm, this one probably didn't need to be purified either.

    Shay turned towards the unusual feline, smiling at her. The tigress hadn't met her yet! "Hey. I'm Amber-Shayley, but you can call me Amber or Shay," she mewed, looking at her curiously. "Want to come on a patrol?" she asked.     He thought about it. "Sure. I'm the Batter." He said before getting up. He liked to patrol the territory and see if anybody were on their territory. He padded away for a brief second and then came back with his baseball bat.

    "Nice to meet you. Are you looking for anything in particular? Cool stick thingy! this is going to be an object-finding patrol," Shay babbled, starting to set off towards the beach.

    "Cool. What's his or her name? Oh- look at this!" Amber stopped her chatter when she came across an old iPad. It was out of date and the screen was cracked, but there was still some charge. To the tigress's surprise, it turned on. "What is is twoleg wizardry?" she squeaked as the Apple logo appeared. She briefly hid behind a tree. He lifted up his bat and smashed the Ipad, narrowing his eyes. It cracked and turned off. "The thing died. I purified it." He said, quite proud of himself.
