    In Character:
    Amber-Shayley Permafrost Shinohara was out in the territory, her nose high in the air as she sniffed the air for the scent of prey. While she didn't have a mentor yet, the golden tigress knew how to hunt. Well, sort of. She wasn't an expert yet, but it had been a moon since she was meant to get a mentor. She was planning to start learning, or else she might never be able to hunt. Shay suddenly stiffened, a glimmer of excitement lighting up in her orange eyes. A deer- not too far from here. It was big, but not too big due to her size. While she wasn't a fully grown tigress yet, she was still pretty big.




    A grin slipped onto her maw as she slunk forwards through the thick undergrowth, downwind from her prey. Her eyes were fixed on the elegant buck, with its curving antlers reaching up towards the sky. When I kill it, I'll use its antlers for something they're simply magnificent, she thought.




    As she placed her paw down, she winced as a loud crackle filled the air. The buck turned from grazing, and spotted the tiger waiting in the shadows. It instantly raced off. Shay glared at the leaves she had stood on, before racing after the buck. Her strong legs propelled her through the forest as adrenalin flooded her veins. She was getting closer and closer to the deer! Suddenly the deer took a sharp turn and Shay crashed straight into a large tree, unable to match the agility of the hoofed animal.




    Woah. What was going on? The world was spinning slightly. "I better get back to camp," she mumbled dreamily as she staggered back to camp. Once she arrived, she was feeling slightly better. She was still hungry though. With a sigh, she dragged over a small doe someone else had caught and started eating some of it. "Anyone want to share?" she asked. She paused for a moment to let Stereoheart answer, anthem added, "Do you want to go make some paints or something? Exchanging pleasantries gets boring after a while."     Shay's orange eyes lit up at the mention of painting themselves. "Oh yeah, let's do that! We could paint the most awesome patterns, then go into camp and do other's fur. So. What colors should we use? Black would be great. Um, we could use dark blue for that. That'll look striking on our fur. And red.     Spotting some berries, Amber grabbed them. She continued hunting for berries, and soon she had loads. "The fun part now!" she grinned, and started jumping on them to mush them.
