You hear the river behind you, it's bouncing off the smooth stones and biting the tip of your tail. You smile as you smell the scent. SplashClan! you think. As you take a paw-step forward you hear a rustle in the undergrowth. A sharp scent overpowers and you see an angry male emerge. He has short, glossy hazel-brown fur and vivid glassy blue eyes, which are glaring at you.
"Who are you, what are you doing in my territory?" he demands.
Your throat closes. You know you've just met the Leader. But feeling the urge you had felt since you began your journey. You look up and meet the male's gripping eyes. They suddenly soften.
"You must be the cat i've heard about in the last Gathering. The one looking for a clan? Right, beforehand i had made up my mind to allow you into my clan. I told the members of my clan and they all agree that we need more members. So, if you wish to join this clan, follow me. There is no need to fear, my clan will accept you with kindness. Come."
