    How DARE she still love him. She had killed him! He paced back and forth, while thinking of the scars he gave Dimlight. She deserved them, what a needy, annoying mate she had been. He remembered when they were apprentices, and den-mates, when he had first found out she was in love with him. He thought he could just manipulate her, but no, she had to be smart. Out of all the she-cats, the smart one had to fall in love with him. He never really loved her, but he never had hated her as much as this. How dare she kill him? He was glad she was dead inside. He sneered at the picture of her in his mind.
