  • Wildcatcher smiled with pride as she looked at her new litter. They were so cute! And most of them looked like her, except for Nimblekit. She worried about Nimblekit sometimes, she was so laid-back, when the others were running around playfully, already at their first moon! She smiled.

As she was looking at Nimblekit watching the other's play, she thought of her father. The resemblance was exact. They had the same eyes, the same pelt color, the same uneasiness when you looked at them...

  • Desertshine, trying to get away from prying eyes, decided to pop into the nursery. The young tom loved kits, they were so funny and adorable. As he entered the den, he spotted the newest litter and smile widely. Hesitantly, he approached the queen, his walk ending up looking very jerky in his awkwardness. "Hello," he mewed with a respectful dip of his head.

  • Fernkit looked up at Desertshine, then looked back at her den-mates. "Look! It's a Shadowclan warrior attacking!" she said playfully pouncing on him. "Let's get him!" she squealed. She, Sprintkit and Dovekit pounced on Desertshine.

Wildcatcher frowned at her kits. "Oh stop it! The nice WindClan warrior has stopped by to say hello, be nice." she said taking her kits off him and looking at Nimblekit worriedly. Then she turned back to Desertshine smiling. "I'm so sorry, Fernkit is a little excitable. I'm Wildcatcher." she said.

  • Desertshine couldn't suppress the laugh that was caused by the kits' antics. This was why he loved them, they were so energetic and uncaring about what anyone else thought. To be honest, he actually envied them a bit for that. "It's okay," he meowed, still chuckling a bit. He was still nervous about speaking with this she-cat he'd never talked to before, but he was feeling a little more daring now. He looked at the queen now with his bright orange eyes. "It's nice to meet you, I'm Desertshine."

  • Wildcatcher blinked her dark blue eyes at him. "Thank you. This is my newest litter." She took all the kits and placed them in order. "This is Fernkit," she said laying her muzzle on the oldest. "Sprintkit, Nimblekit and Dovekit." she said.

Fernkit wriggled. "Mom! We're in the middle of a game." she said batting at her mother's nose.

  • Sprintkit slinked down and moved around both of the larger cats. He stopped when he was behind the warrior. Now all he had to do was take down the Shadowclan warrior and he would be his littermate's hero! He leaped on powerful small kit legs and landed on Desershine's back. But he slipped down and fell onto the nersury floor in annoyance. "Fox dung." He pouted. Then he sprang back up and was running around again.

  • Fernkit ran up to her brother and pushed him down, pinning him down on the floor of the den, laughing. "You couldn't pounce on a piece of freshkill." she teased, getting off of him and hissing playfully at him.

  • "Oh yeah?" He shot up and got into a sorta messy crouching position. And his back paws pushed him forward and he headbutted into Fernpaw, laughing. Sprintpaw hated being the only tom in the litter. But he loved being the only one allowed to mess with his sisters.

  • Fernkit squealed happily as she pawed him away and got into attack position. "Enemy warrior! Kittypile!" she yelled and jumped on her little brother. She hated being the oldest, because her mother expected so much of her, but she loved being able to boss her siblings around in this playful way.

OOc- I'm going to play Dovekit until she gets adopted...

    Dovekit pounced on Sprintkit.

  • "Help me!!" He yowled in a fake teriffied voice. Then he collapsed under the she-cats weight. "You'r all so heavy!! What have you guys been eating??" Sprintkit teased.

  • Dovekit pushed her forepaw on his face, squishing him. "The same thing you have been eating," she said.

    Fernkit laughed.

  • "Then you both have been eating wayyyy to much...of..." He makes a chocking noise. "...stuff." Sprintkit then went limp and pretended to be knocked out by there weight.

  • Dovekit jumped off him and looked worriedly at Fernkit.

Fernkit pushed her sister and laughed, poking Sprintkit. "I can see your breathing." she said.

  • He closed his mouth and stopped breatthing. After a few seconds he couldn't handle it any more and he leaped up in a panic and he ran around gasping for air. Sprintpaw dashed around the nersury eyes closed gasping, then he slammed into the nersury wall and fell down. "Ouch..." He sat up and shook out his fur annoyingly. "Fox dung."

  • Fernkit laughed. "You okay Sprintkit?" she asked.

OOC- wow, I didn't plan on making Fernkit this mean... hmmm, I'll have to change her attitude.

Sprintkit slinked down and moved around both of the larger cats.

Desertshine smiled down at the kits. "They're adorable," he mewed, forgetting all about his social awkwardness. Then, he jumped a little as he was sort-of pounced on. Glancing back at Sprintkit, he purred with amusement. Shaking his head, he returned his eyes to Wildcatcher. "Um... who's the father, if you don't mind my asking?" He cocked his head to the side as he asked. He was curious, but he'd understand if she didn't wish to tell. He knew a lot of she-cats liked to keep it secret.

Nimblekit sat silently, watching her siblings bounce around and play with her orange eyes. How boring, she mused and lay down next to her mother.

  • Wildcatcher couldn't help but flash a look at Nimblekit. Then she turned back to Desertshine and shook her head. "I'd rather not..." she said quietly, looking at the small scar on her right forepaw.

  • Desertshine nodded. "That's okay, I understand," he mewed. Starting to feel awkward again, the sand coloured tom sat down and wrapped his thin tail around his paws.

  • Wildcatcher was starting to feel awkward also. She turned her head around and started to groom her silvery spotted fur nervously thinking of Burn.

  • Desertshine could tell that the queen was feeling awkward as well. "I, um.. I can leave, if you want," he offered, shuffling his paws.

Nimblekit glanced up at the warrior for a moment before turning her attention to her mother. She watched the she-cat groom herself before becoming bored and blinking back down at the ground.
