Even when she was out hunting or planning some fun activity to get her clan mates to join in on it was there. It was about time she made a decision anyway, because fretting about it so much was really beginning to irritate her. If one was to be wondering what she was fretting over it was quite simple really - her name. Since arriving at SunClan she had noticed something quite quickly - next to no one went for traditional names these days. Even Brokenpaw had changed her name to Emilie and Surfpaw had been thinking about following suit for awhile.


    It wasn't that she didn't like her name, the fem just wasn't sure if it was... [i]her. Surfpaw was gorgeous as a name of course and sure the name might suit her cerulean eyes but she was no surfer... So the girl had spent a couple of days thinking about what she would change her name to if she ended up changing it. She thought of naming herself after a creature, as Raven's name was that of a bird, but none of them appealed to her. The girl even thought of naming herself something with a meaning, like Cain's was trouble! But finally she had decided against those ideas - she would simply choose a name she liked. And so she had come up with Lacey, a name that seemed to scream innocence and sweetness, which perfectly described the grey and white squire.


    Standing out in the cathedral the young girl, who had formerly been Surfpaw, spoke up. [color=#BDEDFF][b]"Guys? I just thought I'd let you know that I've changed my name, I'll go by Lacey now." the squire meowed, a small and soft smile on her face as her blue eyes flickered around the cathedral.

A name change was something that never happened from where she had once lived. Her eyes narrowed a little as she made her way over and sat down with a light curl of a frown on her muzzle. Ronin was not sure about this and why the name Lacey? Did it have a meaning to the young female? Whatever the reason she gave a soft nod of her head. "Very well."
