Duarte sat down at his desk clearing it off. He had been doing most of his work just on the floor and hasn't really sat at the desk in a while so it was rather messy. He took his materials and laid them out. He had to design a pattern so they would be able to fold up.

Aria turns on some music and starts to do her chores, cleaning her room and doing some household cleaning. She and her family each take two rooms, generally their own bedrooms and one other room, which they rotate, and today it is Aria's turn to clean the bathroom, which she always hated. She gets it done as quickly as she can and with relief, finishes her cleaning.
-
Duarte soon designs a plan to make it work but is distracted by the mess of his room. What would Aria think? He couldn't help but wonder. He bet her room was always neat. He soon began to start cleaning his room sorting things and putting them in containers or on the shelves.
-
Excited for the concert tonight, Aria gets a shower and picks out her outfit. She blow dries her hair and lets her mom help her with her nails. As soon as her motions stop, one thing fills her thoughts... Duarte. She shakes her head, *There is no way that he thinks about me like this, just constantly,* she thinks to herself, in an attempt to assure herself.
-
Clearing up his room proved easier than Duarte thought. He mind was churning with thoughts mainly of Aria which made the time go by quite quickly. It was much easier to get to all his materials with them all sorted out and not cluttered about randomly on the floor.
-
Aria flits around her house, trying to busy herself with anything as Duarte continues to swirl around her thoughts. She finally gives up and lets her imagination carry her around. She wonders if he is working on the rocket that he was drawing up the other day. Her mind drifts to yesterday when she kissed him on the cheek, making her blush slightly, even in the privacy of her own room.
-
Duarte finally completed stood back to admire his work. Wow. He even impressed himself. It no longer looked like a dump. He smiled. He thought Aria would be proud. Oh there he went again. Always eager for her approval. Even if it was just his own thoughts saying she would approve. He went over to the door and opened it then to the window and opened that. Fresh air.
-
Finally Aria looks at the clock, she gets up and slips into her dress, slightly formal for a slightly formal affair. She curls her hair and puts on some light makeup, hating to go all out with her makeup. She finds her red wedges and slips them on and slicks on just a little red lipstick, to give her complexion something bright. She finishes getting ready just as her friend pulls into her driveway. She kisses her parents and goes out to greet her friend, ready to go to a concert that is sure to impress.
-
Duarte settled down at his desk wondering if Aria would be at her concert by now. He sighed then started to work once more the wing with the new design it should be able to fold easily and be lighter than the previous. It would take getting use to, but it should be a good improvement. He figured if he finished it tonight he could go test it out tomorrow in his field.
-
They go to the concert, parking and walk to the university auditorium, where some classes take place, but it is mainly a performance hall. They show their tickets and Aria finds their seats. In about 15 minutes, the auditorium fills up and the lights dim as the introduction begins.
-
Duarte started cutting and connecting the sheets of carbon fiber to the frame very carefully and accurately. Suddenly he heard the voice of his sister in the doorway causing him to jump. He had forgotten he left the door open.
"What ya doin?" She asked curiously.
"Just stuff," said Duarte not lifting his gaze from his work.
-
Aria and the rest of the audience clap to introduce the beautiful melodies of music that will proceed for the next couple of hours. She lets the music carry her away, as the air gets thick with tension and suddenly would release into colorful vitality all with sound and emotion.
-
His sister shrugged not pursuing it anymore. He lied down on the loot in his doorway. Laying on her back she stuck her feet in the air. "Do you know what happened at school today?" She asked.
"No," said Duarte then deciding to be friendly added. "Tell me about it."
She then preceded to tell about a friend who was being rude. How stupid boys were. And that she wanted to plan a sleepover with another friend. Duarte just continued his work not really paying a whole lot of attention to he as she jabbered away.
-
2 hours later, the concert ends and Aria cannot wait to attend another. She and her friend return home and crash, her friend staying the night with her.
-
Duarte let his sister chatter away as he finished his wing. When he finally was done he glanced at his clock. It was getting kind of late. Wow time did fly. "You better go to bed," he told his sister. She tried to protest, but it ended in a yawn and she walked away bummed.
-
Aria sleeps soundly, exhausted from the day, though even in her sleep, Duarte manages to wiggle his way into her thoughts. The next morning she wakes up and sees that her friend is still asleep beside her. She then looks at her clock and sees why... Its 6:00 in the morning, why the heck is she up. She rolls over and attempts to go back to sleep.
-
Duarte got ready for bed and tried to sleep, but it came with difficultly. He finally fell asleep, but woke after only a few hours. He sighed then realized he wouldn't be able to sleep again he headed downstairs. He walked out the front door and sat on the porch watching the sunrise.
-
Aria finally gives in and slips out of her room quietly, walking outside to find the sun beginning to rise. She sighs softly as she takes in the tranquil silence of the morning, only a few creatures beginning to stir to life. She sees a robin hop across the pavement of her driveway and she smiles softly.
-
Wearing only a tshirt Duarte's metal arm was visible catching the light and making it shine and reflect the colors of his surroundings. He couldn't help but wonder what Aria was doing right now and if she couldn't stop thinking if him like he couldn't stop thinking of her. Oh why would she think on him? They hardly knew each other, yet it almost felt like he knew her forever.
-
Aria's thoughts quickly drift to Duarte. She sighs and imagines him sitting next to her, blissful silence between them. When she thought about it, she could certainly see what Jason was fearing. Duarte is smart and can apply himself well. He is thoughtful though sometimes rushed and awkward. These thoughts make her smile softly.
