  • Duarte couldn't help but smile. She obviously didn't like him, but why should that make him happy that she wouldn't date him? Duarte didn't even really know this Jason guy. He shook his head slightly. "Oh," he said trying to just relax and act normal.

  • "I think I just bruised his ego a little, that's all," Aria says with a shrug. She notices the smile light on Duarte's face for a moment, wondering what he was smiling about. She tucks a piece of hair behind her ear. "He just needs to mind his own bees wax, that's all," She says, recalling what he had said about her liking Duarte.

  • Duarte stood there for a bit longer. "Well I think I better get going soon," said Duarte a bit sadly not really wanting to go leave and go to his lonely life. Even the thought of going off to work on the wing didn't really encourage him to want to leave. "See ya I guess."

  • "Duarte," She says softly, standing up straighter. She leans forward and kisses him on the cheek lightly, "Thank you," she says softly, smiling at him. She closes her trunk, "See you on Monday," she says brightly, hardly believing that she just did that... She just kissed him on the cheek.

  • Duarte was stunned. He just stood and blinked at her for a bit. It seemed to awaken something in him. Was that what he had been feeling towards her this while time? Did she feel that way too? He realized he probably looked stupid and quickly snapped out of it. "S-see ya Monday," he stammered with a quick smile before turning and walking towards the street.

  • She waves goodbye as she gets into her car. Her blood pounds in her ears, "I just did that...!" She almost squeals. She takes a deep breath, trying to regain control of herself. She drives home, the music, again turned up and her windows rolled down. She has a hand out the window as her heart threatens to explode with this strange feeling.

  • Darted walked home wide eyed. Taking each step slowly just thinking over the day unable to concentrate on much else but Aria. He now realized he had feelings for her even if he hasn't really wanted to admit it to himself. It wasn't even right. He kept so much from her. It wasn't fair. Besides angels weren't suppose to fall in love with humans. Oh but he wasn't even and angel anymore was he.

  • Aria gets home and floats to her room. "I am completely and utterly ridiculous," She tells herself, facepalming herself on the forehead. "There is no way that he could possibly like me back," She rationalizes with herself.

  • Duarte walks into his house still in a daze. He walks up the stairs just kinda blankly. His sister saw him and gave him an odd look before vanishing into another room with a shrug. Duarte didn't bother even acknowledging her and went into his room and sat on his bed.

  • Aria sits on her bed and picks up a remote. She presses play and some music began to play. She lays back on her bed, her dark hair flowing out around her face. Suddenly Gabby come bounding into her room, "Aria is in love!" Aria shoots up,
"I most certainly am not," She refutes looking at her sister as she climbs up on her bed.

  • Duarte shook his head trying to clear his mind then got up and fetched the materials for his wing and started to work on it again. This wire gets connected here and the metal frame can bend here. He was glad for something to occupy his mind and to keep it from his feelings for he was not sure truly what they were.

  • Aria smiles and listens to her sister carry on about how she thinks that she is in love. Finally Aria interjects, "Well instead of worrying about me, what about your secret admirer?" She asks. The little girl sticks out her tongue, "Boys have cooties," she determines. Aria laughs,
"Yes, some do... Well I suppose that most do," she says with a smile.

  • Duarte screwed in nails connecting metal and wires together. Gradually it was beginning to look like the frame for a wing. He tested the joints of it. All bendable. Perfect. He enjoyed dedicating his time to this. It was helpful for him so he could fly and occupy his mind. Now all he had to do was find a material light enough to replace the feathered area of the wing.

  • Gabby finally leaves Aria's room long enough for her to complete her homework and get some studying in before dinner. After she eats, she takes a shower and lays down on her bed to read, the music playing softly in the background. She glances outside and sees that it is already dark, making her more and more excited for the concert that she gets to go to tomorrow night.

  • Duarte thought over it then decided to use carbon fiber sheets. He rummaged through his stash finding some scraps from previous projects and some larger pieces. He wasn't positive it would be enough, but he hoped it would. He yawned suddenly realizing how tired he was. Well he could work more tomorrow. Right now he needed sleep.

  • Aria lays on her side, falling asleep with her book open. She wakes up long enough of drag out of bed and turn off her light, before closing her book and putting it on her nightstand. She falls back to sleep quickly and easily. She sleeps the entire night without waking up anymore.

  • Duarte put away the materials neatly. Maube he should try to keep his room more organized? Why? Was he trying to impress Aria? It wasn't like she would come over though. Why would she want to do that? He shook his head then got changed quickly and then just kind of fell onto his bed. He fell asleep very quickly and slept soundly.

  • The next morning Aria's parents let her sleep late, knowing how tired she was. When she does finally get up, she looks at her clock, still bleary-eyed. "10:00..." She says to herself, her voice covered in sleep. She sits up in bed and yawns, running a hand through her slightly tangled hair.

  • Duarte woke up a bit later than usual feeling refreshed. Ah it felt good to actually get a good rest. He quickly got out of bed and took a shower changing into some sweatpants and a sweatshirt. He then went downstairs and ate breakfast before returning to his room.

  • The smell of muffins drifts up to her room, coaxing her down the stairs. "good morning," she says happily when she finds the muffins sitting on the counter and her family at the table munching on them. Once she eats, Aria goes back up to her room to get dressed. She puts on a pair of worn high waist shorts and a t-shirt.
