Shia hummed questioning. "It does?" She asked and glanced back at him. Being a hunter could be lonely occasionally as well, a subject she more often than she'd admit, thought about. She didn't know much about being an Alpha, she was quite curious. She made her way back on to land and shook her fur briefly, before settling down by the shore, facing the water.
"All you do is sit and ponder decisions for the betterment of the pack. Once in a while I just want to leave camp and explore the area. I haven't been since I was a hunter many mokns ago when my father was the Alpha," Firestar said, walking beside her and sitting. "I was just like you."
"I had no idea it was like that to be an Alpha... Hmm.." She trailed off, thinking it over while gazing into the steadily flowing river. "Then, let's get you a taste of freedom and a chance to explore the area a bit. Let's go for a hunt, just the two of us. Not a pack hunt." She suggested with a warm smile while looking at him, wanted to make him feel free and happy, quite as she felt while hunting. She knew the area very well, and knew that a small heard of deers could be found further down the river.
She had smelled then earlier, but didn't want to take the risk of scaring them off by attempting to bring down one by herself.
"I need to get back. I would love to hunt, but there are responsibilities back in the camp. Mabye some other day," he said, licking her cheek and walking away, a deep blush on his cheeks.
Shias cheeks turned crimson red, her gaze lingering where he sat before. She snapped out of it and look out over the river, lost in thought, her cheeks still having their red color.
Firestar walked back to camp and entered his den tiredly.
Shia remained sitting for a few minutes, then stood and made her way back to the camp. She arrived shortly after, and trudged over to her den. Her amber eyes swept across the area briefly before she entered. She walked over to the side and curled up, legs tucked in to her body, tail wrapped around her and her muzzle buried in the fluffy fur of her tail. Sleep got a grip and dragged her into a light, dreamless sleep, numbing the throbbing pain in her skull.
Ooc: Anyone still alive on this thread? Or everyone's dead?
Oc: I'm alive, just been really inactive lately. I'm grounded...
Ooc: Ah, alright.
