    "This is as far as I can go," he anounced. He looked down, the drop was fifteen feet, the tree swaying ominously in the breeze.

    Pilirin looked up at the other cat, his long tail flicking behind him, "Only that far? hah! I could do much better!"
  • "Bye Sparkles," said Snowshade sadly.
    He turned and spoke to Pilirin.
    "Let's see you try, the branches crumble beneath your feet if you go any higher: it's an eighteen foot drop, I heard a trainer telling another. Eighteen feet, it's enough to shatter a snowferra's paws, and if he landed on his back it would break it," he said, parroting an older snowferra.

    "They just say that so you don't fall," The fire snowferra rolled his eyes, running and leaping onto the trunk, his claws digging into the bark, leaving singe marks. he continued to climb up, "I bet I could go a foot farther than you. Maybe not farther though, 'cause i'll burn the bark through and hurt the tree there." He lashed his tail as he continued to climb higher.
