"And when he's not here," the assassin wearing the American Flag colors spoke at this, her voice surprisingly calm and respectful. "Then you're screwed,"

  • Septimus looked up at her. He smiled a little bit. "Right", he said grimly.

  • Seeing that Benjamin was pretty much done with his sandwich, Septimus asked him, "Want to go anywhere in particular?" He tried to sound cheerful, but it was kind of hard due to the fact that the Master had mentioned everything about Benjamin while he was sitting next to him.

  • Septimus nodded. "Where are you going to stay now that you're here?" he asked Benjamin inquiringly.

He shook his head. "I'm not sure," he rumbled. "Definitely not here in the den. The Master....I don't know. I get a shiver." Their Sister in the Flag Colors spoke. "There's an abandoned house near here," she said with a shrug. "You could turn it into your personal Lair. Most of us have done that throughout the Country. My twin is set up across the country in Orgeon. He rarely comes in anymore." She sounded sad. Benjamin lifted his head a little as he studied the young woman. He shook his head and took a deep breath. "I just might do that," he said just as a Messanger came rushing in. His face was red from the wind and he was breathing heavily. He didn't acknowledge anyone and went straight to the Master's Chamber. A shiver trailed down Ben's back. Something was wrong.

The assassin nodded in thanks. "I would appreciate that, mate," he said with a grin, though it seemed fake as his eyes went to the Master's chamber.

  • "Ok lead the way." Trixy said with a smile. "Oh and you can call me Trix or Elly if you want." Trixy said as she pulled her hood up.

He was about to stand when the Messenger exited the chamber. "Sam," he said softly, looking at the woman in the red white and blue robes. "There's a message for you from Orgeon's Den." Samantha stood and stepped close to the messenger and tilted her head down while he spoke in a quiet voice. She pulled away and stepped back, her face white. "No," she whispered, a hand to her mouth. She reached for the nearest table and sat down as tears began to form behind her eyes. "My brother...." The messenger nodded with a soft frown. "I'm sorry," he said, walking out of the Den. Benjamin rose and offered his condolences before heading to the door.

  • Septimus looked at Sam sadly. He had known her ever since he had joined the Den. Walking over to her, Septimus patted her gently on the shoulder as a sign that her brothers and sisters would be there for her. Sam continued crying, so Septimus walked back to join Benjamin and Trixy. Looking at them, he asked, "Why don't we go now?" in a soft tone. He gestured for the other two to go first.

  • Following closely behind him, Septimus pulled his hood over his head before closing the door behind him. He pointed down the street to let Benjamin know where the house was.

He nodded in acknowledgement and headed for the house. Once he made it to the door, he gently swung it open. There was a staircase leading up to another floor in front of them before the bottom of the house branched out into a kitchen, living room and dining area. He could only guess that the bedrooms were upstairs.

  • Tricky followed close behind them. They seemed like nice enough people but she wasn't shirt she could trust ether of them. At least not yet.

    Benjamin Cloudmark

He looked around the house for a while, heading upstairs. He looked around and grinned when he saw a window leading out onto another roof. Good. At least he had another entrance into the place. Soon after, he returned to Septimus and Trixie, a smile on his face. "This place is great," he stated.

    [/fancypost]

  • Septimus nodded, glad that Benjamin had liked it. The house was the only available place that Benjamin would be able to stay, Seotimua himself didn't live anywhere, but wandered the streets. He turned and raised his eyebrows when he saw Trixy behind him. Septimus didn't trust the girl, and it seemed that she didn't trust the two either. Huffing, Septimus turned back to look at Benjamin. "Well, it's all yours now", Septimus said, spreading out his hands. Then, leaning in, he asked, "mind if I stay for a while? I don't really have anywhere to go" the truth was, he was trying to follow the Master's orders while staying safe himself. The talk about the Templars seemed to be increasing, and Septimus couldn't take any chances.
