    Wearing a red and silver tie loosely around his neck, Glitch enjoyed the reasonably cool day. The tie was new, hell it had never come out of the box, and he loved it. The ebony wolf sat down near the bank of the river, soaking in the sun. Ah, it was going to be a great day.

    He had been wandering aimlessly, as always, his motives merely to enjoy the peace whilst it lasted; it wasn't that he disliked company, but the quiet was, for once, nice. He was a naturally sociable animal and didn't always like prolonged periods of isolation; already, after an hour or two, he was beginning to wish for a companion, and so rather than steering clear of familiar BloodClan scents, he picked up the closest and approached, his round gaze finding Glitch with ease once he stepped into close proximity with the canine.


    "Hello," Nimbus murmured with a faint smile. "I'm Nimbus, who're you?"

    He raised his head as he heard someone's voice, a white serval to be exact. His fur reflected the sun perfectly, nearly blinding. As the serval introduced himself, Glitch returned his grin. "I'm Glitch." The wolf introduced himself. Nimbus seemed nice, and glitch was sure he had seen him before, but never spoke to him.

    The wolf hadn't fell off of that boulder, it was more like an attack towards the ground. Glitch laughed, he wasn't bitter about that, "Falling is putting it gently, it was more like crashing." Glitch joked. "I'm fine, how about you?" He responded, messing with his tie.

    Feeling Nimbus' paws on his, the wolf stopped for a moment. "Oh, uh, sure. Thanks," Glitch responded, awkwardly though. He lowered his paws, smiling faintly. "So what do you like?" He asked, trying to make small talk.

"Would you like to do anything?" he then asked, finishing adjusting Glitch's tie and moving his paws away.

    The ebony wolf jump up and smiled, "How about, since we're already here, let's go swimming!" Winking, Glitch backed up until he was at the water's edge. His paw dipped into the liquid, then he turned and jumped in.

    At the offer to swim, Nimbus nodded hesitantly, rising to his paws and arching his spine to stretch. To be honest, he was a little flushed at the wink, but had told himself to try and ignore it, focus on the task at hand. The water. He wasn't the biggest fan of it, truthfully, but he nonetheless followed Glitch, stepping into the cool liquid and bracing himself until he could push off and begin a shaky paddle.




    He wasn't used to it, however, and was soon panting. "N-nice, isn't it?" he mewed, teeth chattering.

    Seeing Nimbus struggle, Glitch's eyes flashed with genuine concern. He swam over to him, "You alright? We could go or do something else if you want." The wolf got close to the serval in case he wanted to hold on, he was unsure if he could swim well or not.

    Looking back, Glitch raised an invisible eyebrow, "You know, you could have just told me that you couldn't swim," He cracked a smile, "I don't mind." He swam to the bank and out of the river. The wolf walked a few paces forward before lowering his body to let him off gently. "There you go."

    He wasn't alone in imitating a fairytale character. Glitch acted along in deep, overly masculine voice, "Tis not a problem, princess! Let us go forth and run into the sunset and then fly away on magical pegusi!" He stood up as if he was actually going to do that, but where would he get a pegusus?!
