  • Raven blushed slightly and stepped into the elevator. Why was everyone being so nice to her? She was a stranger, and it seemed like they all knew each other. She stepped back to make plenty of room for the others and stood int he corner. She preferred to be out of the more crowded areas.

  • Jasper walked in after the girls and watched the doors close. He turned to clover. "Which hotel should we get? We dont have a lot of money." She shrugged.
"Whichever one is best for the moment. I hope these girls have money." She turned to the unknown girl. "Hey, I forgot to ask you your name." Meanwhile, Jasper stood beside Lexi.
"Dont worry, Lexi. The ride is fast." He reassured her. He glaced at the other girl, curious about her.

  • Raven gulped. She hadn't spoke in so long that's he wasn't sure she cold any more. "R-R-Raven." she stuttered. Her voice hadn't changed, but now she stuttered even more than usual.

  • "I... I don't have money." Lexi frowned choking out "I got robbed by a gang of guys." She mumbled to jasper frowning. "I'll have to work out a deal with the manager, I'll ask to clean up rooms or something." She said looking up to him

  • Ooc: i will be inactive today and most of tomorrow so please dont go more than a couple pages ahead. Sry for the short notice

  • As the elevator door dinged and opened, Clover walked out and smiled. "Raven. Huh. Nice name you got there." She adjusted her backpack and began walking.

Jasper smiled slightly. "You wont have to do that Lexi. We've got you. Raven too, if you need it. We have enough for tonight." He leaned over to whisper to Clover. "We need a cheap one. We dont have that much money." Clover nodded and motioned for everyone to follow.
"Lets go to this one. It seems pretty small."

  • Raven nodded and smiled at Lexi. Raven followed the siblings into the cheapest hotel. It seemed like a nice hotel, and at least it wasn't a run-down one. As they walked up to the lady at the front desk, Raven really hoped that she wouldn't have to talk to the woman.

  • Lexi walked in silence next to clover and glanced behind her to the elevator and felt her body relaxing.

  • Once Raven got to the counter, she stood still and stiffened up. She waited for the others, getting a curious look from the lady.

  • The lady at the counter raised her eyebrows. "So, what can I do for ya? This isn't a church, my friends. Speak up."

  • Clover stepped up. "Hello. We need two rooms, please. Just one night" She spoke. She glanced at Jasper and he nodded, handing her some of the money they brought. Clover, in turn, handed the money to the lady, with a slight smile.

  • Lexi smiled a little for the first time "thanks clover and jasper." She said softly

  • Clover smiled at her. "Its nothing." She responded, glancing at Jasper, who nodded and smirked. She rolled her eyes at him and turned to the lady. Flirt.

  • "Ok," the lady half-smiled and told them how much it would cost. "We use old-fashioned keycards here. Here's the one for the room y'all rented, Room 6." She slid it onto the table. "And sweeties, if you're looking for entertainment there's a bar on Floor 298. The Dancing Rattlesnake, I think it's called. Rooms down that hall." She motioned to a closed door.

Rico locked the door of Room 14 behind him and flicked the lights on. It was small and dank, with a single bed and a pull-out couch covered in mysterious stains. The entire place was cut out from the earth, and the walls were bare stone as if nobody had bothered to cover it with wallpaper. There hung from the ceiling a flourescent light, and there were switches by the door and on the wall next to the bed that could turn it on or off. There was a wooden coffee table in front of the couch. There was no bathroom- it was at the end of the hallway with all the rooms in it. He flopped on the couch with a sigh, having nothing on him but the money in his pocket, his clothes, and his jacket (which he didn't even bother to remove).

  • Lexi stayed with the group heading up to room 6, although she was nervous with the stains in the room, it would do for now.

  • Clover grabbed the key, thanked the lady for the advice, and headed with the rest of the group to their room. This room was different-looking. As she walked in, there was a couch with a bed in the far corner. Beside the bed, lay a nightstand. There was a doorway from the room leading into another room with only one bed and a small couch, not big enough for two. Jasper sighed. "Well, this will do. I mean, it isnt the best hotel ever but its what we've got."
Clover nodded and sat on the bed in the first room. "So, sleeping arrangements" she spoke. "Jasper and I will take this bed, and Raven and Lexi can decide where to sleep. I have some food in here if you guys want to share. I'm gonna go out there and look around."

  • Lexi nodded thanking them again and slowly sat on one of the couches to take as her bed. She slowly pulled her bag off her shoulder starting to go through it.

  • Raven followed them and shrugged when the sleeping arrangements were made. Then she sat down in a small chair and leaned her head on the back. She was exhausted. After a few minutes of droopy eyes, she fell asleep.
