    Kai moved closer, but what he really wanted to do was sit on his boyfriend's lap. Eventually he moved so that he could swing his legs over Jace's waist, and then he smiled. "I missed you." The smell of the alcohol was still there, although it was mostly gone. There was still that other smell, but Kai couldn't place it. "Wanna watch a movie?" What is it... Margarita? It's certainly sweet enough to be... But I don't think it's alcohol... Huh....

    Jace smiled at the offer. "That sounds great, what do you want to watch, should we check Netflix?" He was happy to spend time like this with Kai. It made him forget about the cutting and Andrea. Andrea... He tried to shake away the memories but they had been nagging at him recently. Should I tell Kai? How would he feel if he knew? Is this even a good time?

    Margarita... Something fruity...? Perfume. Why is he wearing perfume? Kai laughed a little, just at the fact that Jace was wearing it. He wasn't quite connecting the dots, but he was beginning to. "Mmhmm. I don't really care what we watch though, you can choose." He tried to wrap his thin arms around Jace's neck.

    Jace wiggled a but so that Kai could put his arms around his neck, and as he did so, Jace leaned in and kissed Kai on the nose quickly. Catching Kai off guard Jace asked, "Are you up for a horror film?" Jace liked the idea of holding Kai close and feeling him get goose-bumps at the scary parts. Maybe he would even scream! Jace decided to tell Kai about Andrea some other time. Right now, it was about them.

    "Ok, I'd be fine with that!" Kai agreed. He put his head on Jace's shoulder- But only so he could smell a little better without looking suspicious. Yep, that's definitely perfume. But why did Jace..? His heart dropped, and so did his smile. "Um.. Jace...? What um... What exactly did you do tonight..?" He asked softly.


    (Sorry, I decided to take the whole smelling like Nikki thing to the next level xD )

    (It's fine haha, I figured you were planning on bringing it up soon. And I'm really sorry for being so inactive! I really like this rp too, it's just that my wifi has been down these past few days and we are going to Verizon to fix it this weekend. It's really slow, and sometimes the server crashes. Sorry, hope it will be working the next few days!)
    Jace was a little nervous to answer Kai, but then he calmed himself down and thought, I didn't do anything wrong. I can't control it if someone hits on me! Kai won't be mad, besides I told Nikki I have a boyfriend, I didn't do anything but talk to her a minute. He felt more confident in his reply and said, "Dom was having a party so I stopped by for a minute to say hi. Some girl there was all dolled up and was hitting on me, but I told her that I was dating you. I just grabbed a drink and decided to come home." He felt certain that Kai would understand. "I missed you today." He added placing a kiss on Kai's cheek before leaning over a bit to grab the remote.

    Kai looked less horrified, but now just looked a little jealous that someone had been hitting on his boyfriend. "Hm, all right..." He said softly as he shifted himself on Jace's lap so that he could reach the remote. "I missed you too. I was sorta starting to think that you'd have another one of those late nights..." He glanced away and bit his lip.

    (I would never! :-* )
    Jace could sense the tension growing and placed his hand on Kai's cheek, tracing his jawline tenderly with his thumb. "I love you." He said matter-of-factly and tried to read his boyfriends mysterious mixed expression. I won't apologize! Jace thought. I didn't do anything wrong. He told himself this, even though he felt guilty for staying out all the time. Kai was his top priority, but Jace was the kind of person who lived in the moment, and when times were looking bad, he turned to the first thing he could find to distract him from bad thoughts or fear. It just happened that sometimes that first thing, was a bottle of ale.

    Kai smiled and wiped away his bad expression to replace it with a smile- Well, he tried. There was still a little jealousy, but he himself thought that there was no trace. "I love you too." He wrapped his thin arms around Jace's neck a little tighter so he could bring himself closer while he waited for Jace to pick something.

    Jace scrolled through the horror genre trying to find something good, and decided on Cabin in the Woods. Jace had never seen it, but he wondered if it was going to be too much... He looked to Kai to see if he looked interested in the movie, and again wondered when he should tell him about Andrea. Not tonight. He thought again. Maybe tomorrow...

    Kai turned himself around so that instead of having up his body facing towards Jace, he was faced toward the tv. He bit his lip and shifted around awkwardly when he saw what movie they were gonna watch, but eventually he settled down and just tried to pay attention.

    Jace could see Kai was a little uncomfortable with the scary movie, but he thought it was kind of cute. He watched Kai more than he did the movie, and was thinking about kissing him, but didn't. He was sorry for being so stupid and going off all the time to drink and forget about his problems. He was starting to learn that doing this was only making his troubles worse, and he didn't want to risk screwing up his relationship with Kai.

    Kai jumped a lot, but managed to keep his noises under control. I am a college student after all. I need to be a little more brave than this! He kept a determined expression on as he watched, but again, he jumped around in his seat- Er, Jace's lap. A lot.

    Jace wasn't bothered by all of Kai's fidgeting and actually found it kinda cute. Every once in a while he would catch Kai biting his lip, and it only made him hold Kai tighter. As far as Jace was concerned, the movie was pretty funny. He tried not to laugh, as he was afraid Kai would think he was laughing at him, but they both managed to finish the movie.
    "Hey," Jace said quietly as he shut off the T.V. and positioned Kai so that he could face him again, "Why don't we sleep out here? We can set up some pillows on the floor, or on the couch, what do you think?"

    Kai nodded his head. "Sure! Sounds fun." He was still a little nervous from the movie, but his expression was definitely brightened from before. He leaned over to kiss Jace on the cheek, and then smiled even more.


    (So like on the plot, what if Jace got drunk again or something and was all abusive? Sorry if you don't like that haha it was on the plot but it's cool if you don't wanna)

    (Yeah sure we can make that happen. Do you think that just before they reach their breaking point in their relationship, they should make amends and move on?)
    After setting up on the couch Jace offered for Kai to come and curl up next to him. He lay on the oversized sofa, holding Kai close to him, feeling very tired from their eventful week. He wondered when would be the right time to tell Kai about Andrea. I have to tell him sometime. He told himself. It was important to him that Kai know. And they had been dating for a while now, surely it wouldn't be a problem. But still, Jace was nervous about it and his nerves always made him do the stupidest things.

    (Ooh what if Kai ended up cheating woah)


    Kai wrapped his dangerously thin arms around Jace and cuddled closer. He buried his face in Jace's chest and inhaled a little. He murmured gently, "I love you so much..." I think everything is finally gonna be ok...! I think everything is turning around. He thought as he slid his brown eyes closed.

    (OHHHHHHH Now that is something I can see Jace getting mad and hurtful about! Do you want to have me rp the new guy/girl or maybe bring someone new in? Your call.)
    "I love you too Jace murmured sleepily before closing his eyes slowly. When he opened them again it was light out and Kai was still nestled close to him. Sneakily, Jace uncurled Kai's fist from his shirt and headed to the kitchen for some food. He didn't have to wake Kai because he knew that they didn't have any classes, so he decided to make something for them for breakfast.

    Kai stirred a little when he lost the warmth of Jace, but did not wake up. "Mmmm..." He pulled a pillow closer so he could cuddle it instead. Eventually, however, he sat up slowly and rubbed his eyes, "...Jace? Baby?" He muttered as he tried to get up.


    (But like what if Jace hurts him once, Kai cheats, and then it gets worse? I feel like that'd be all drama-y
