(Hmm, how about Sandstorm helps Rose while Limetail keeps on working with Aurora?)
Sandstorm padded into Willowstar's den, "You wished to see me" She said taking a quick glance at Limetail from the corner of her eye
"Yes, sandstorm. You will become Aurora's mentor while Limetail become's Rose's mentor" Willowstar said
Sound mighty dandy to me!
Aurora slept. Rose cought a rabbit and a chipmunk and put them both in the field to take to the clan tomorrow, then went out to hunt some more.
Sandstorm nodded and looked at Limetail,"Is that alright with you?" She asked him
"What the leader says is law." He mewed emotionless, and stiffly walked out of the leaders den, neglecting to be dismissed.
"Sandstorm you are still on gaurd duty" Willowstar said
Sandstorm padded outside, looked at Limetail and faced the entrance
Dawn light flitted through the tree s and around camp. Rose padded in with a rabbit and two chipmunks. Aurora padded in sleepaly behind her with two squirrels and a vole. "where do we put these?" aurora mumbled around a mouthful of fur.
"Over there" Sandstorm said pointing with her tail to the freshkill pile
They set down there fresh kill, grabbing the skimpy vole and settling down to eat. Each cat only got a small bite as the vole was skinny. then rose and aurora padded up outside willowstars den and waited. Until she woke, as not to disturb the clan leader.
Willowstar padded outside. "So I'm guessing you want to know who your mentors are?"
" yes please" rose mewed softly, as not to worsen her scratchy throat.
Willowstar nodded, "Aurora, your mentor will be Sandstorm. Rose, your mentor will be Limetail"
They nodded there heads. Aurora was slightly disappointed that limetail was not her mentor. Rose coughed.
"Is there something wrong?" Willowstar asked seeing a hint of dissapointment in Aurora's eyes
Limetail, overhearing their conversation, thought, Yes! There is something wrong! Aurora should be my apprentice! He huffed loudly after Sandstorm Said Aurora's name and stomped inside the warriors den.
Sandstorm sighed and padded over into Willowstar's den
Limetail tucked his head in his paws and cried, eventually falling asleep.
Sandstorm sighed and looked at her new apprentice
"no, nothing at all." aura mewed. A miniscule bit of sarcasm flicked of her tounge.
" then limetail will be my mentor?" rose asked sincerely.
Willowstar nodded before she noticed that she forgot one small thing. "Wait, I think I messed up the mentors"
Aurora pricked her ears and turned to willowstar. A small spark of hope glimmered in her eyes.
