Udo sprinted out of the elevator as soon as it opened. She bumped into the guy from earlier, a smile spreading onto her face. "Oh! Can you bring your Pokemon out, now?" The guy smirked and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Only if you come into my room. They misbehave when they're out of their Pokeballs." Udo looked back at Veto and tilted her head. "Hey, before we go play, can I see his Pokemon?" The guy's eyes widened once he noticed Veto, and he stood there, frozen, his arm still wrapped around Udo.

Veto's eyes darkened. "No. What did I tell you before?" He huffed, before acknowledging the man with a dark scowl. "Step away from her, scumbag."
-
The guy removed his arm and stepped away. "Look, dude.. Sorry. She came up to me!" Udo looked between the two, confused. Her head tilted and she stood besides Veto, her eyebrows raising. "What's wrong? You look mad, Veto.."
-
"See? She doesn't have a clue. Drop the act and go home." Veto growled.
-
The guy winced and walked away without another word. Udo looked at his retreating back, confused. She shook her head as if to clear her mind. Grabbing Veto's hand, she dragged him outside and offered him a smile. "Hey, you know what I've always wanted to do?" Her eyes sparkled as she spoke.
-
"What?" Veto mumbled, refocusing on Udo directly.
-
She grabbed one of Veto's hands and placed them on her shoulder, the other on her hip. She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled. "Dance with me!"
-
Veto froze. Here? In the rain? "I don't dance," He told her with a frown.
-
Udo bit her lip. "You can just follow my lead if you don't know how to-" She stopped talking when she felt their noses brush against each other. She blushed and she shyly looked into his eyes.
-
"No," Veto insisted, gently trying to pull away from her. "Right, Gren? I've never danced, and I never intend on it. Dancing is just..."
-
Udo frowned. "Well, when you get married, you're going to have to dance. I can teach you! Pretty please?" She stuck her bottom lip out and gave him the puppy dog eyes. "I'll.. Owe you a favor?"
-
"But it's so public," Veto complained, a bit out of character. "And in the rain?" He tried to emotionally fight off her begging.
-
Udo pulled away from Veto. She crossed her arms and started to walk in the opposite direction. A woman giggled at Udo's childishness before walking into her apartment. Udo huffed and didn't stop walking.
-
Veto turned away, relieved. But then, thinking it over, he lowered his head, suddenly attacked by guilt. "...Fine, Udo. Get back here." He mumbled.
-

Udo's head perked up and her eyes sparkled. She walked back towards him and hugged him tightly. She pulled away from him and tilted her head. "Normally, the guy is supposed to lead.. But, I'm guessing that this is your first time dancing.." She grabbed one of his hands and wrapped it around her waist, and held the other, interlocking their fingers together. "Okay, so this is how you're supposed to hold the girl. You better remember this!" She placed her free hand on his shoulder and nodded to herself. "Okay, now.. This part should be easy, unless you're a slow learner." She started to sway them slowly. She rested her head in the crook of his neck and smiled to herself. "We can stay like this if you want.."
Dedenne looked out the window, sadly. He hated rain, so he didn't go outside with Udo and Veto. His eyes widened when he saw the two.. Dancing? He tilted his head in confusion. "Nene?"
OOC ;; Wow, long post. I have a high muse all of a sudden. ;-;
-
Veto did as he was told, not very enthusiastically, but he did it, and blushing the whole time. "Where'd you learn to dance?"
ooc: My muse is unpredictable. =/
-

Udo shut her eyes. "Hm, when I was ten, I saw this romantic movie and I asked my dad to teach me. I've always wanted to do this with a guy other than my dad. Uh, not in a romantic way, of course. I-I mean, I'm not trying to offend you.." She blushed and shook her head. "I don't think I'd ever get a boyfriend. I get that I'm a little scatterbrained, but.." She untangled their fingers and, instead, wrapped her arms around his neck. "Guys don't like girls like me. I'm too easy."
-
"Easy? What do you mean?" Veto asked stiffly, trying to disregard their closeness. He'd never had a girlfriend before. Quiet better suited him; Veto hated drama, and it seemed relationships were just full of it.
-

Udo sighed quietly. "Guys think that I'd be easy to rush into a relationship with them. But.. I'm not. I-I know that I could be pretty stupid sometimes, but I know how relationships work. I want my first boyfriend to love me, and I'd love them back. I don't want to be walked all over." She squeezed her eyes shut. "I can be clueless at times, but I've watched enough romantic movies to know about love. I mean.. I don't think I'd be able to love someone, maybe really like them." Udo's grip on Veto tightened. "You've probably had tons of experience.. How does it feel to really like someone?"
-
"Heh?" Veto almost laughed. "I've never dated before. Training Pokemon always seemed more exciting then trying to maintain a relationship with someone."
