[glow=black,2,300][size=9pt] It was around dusk and Maypaw and her father Berrybark got in a fight about her mother again.
/flashback/
"Where is she?!" Maykit had cried out to her father and sister. "I don't know May..!" Otterfoot told her sister. "But I need her.. I want her to be there on my special day!" She whinned. "Sweetie, honey... Mother will be here to see you become an apprentice tomorrow." Otterfoot treid to calm her down.
Berrybark walked into the nursery and noticed Maykit and Otterfoot fighting. "Girls.. girls.." He said as she sat between them and placed his tail on Maykit. " Otterfoot my sweetie.. can you come with me on a small patrol.. You girls can go back to this when we get back." He smiled softly.
"But dad!" - "Not right now Maykit..I'm sorry. It wont take long." he bagged.
"I already have someone going to watch you as both of us go on our patrol." Berrybark told Maykit and Maykit sighed and ran to her nest and burred her self in it.
"Lets go Otterfoot."
When both of them got far from the camp, Berrybark stopped walking and looked at Otterfoot. She did the same. "Have you seen your mother.. at all? " He asked. She responded with a no. "Maykit was crying before you came about mother being gone." She meowed. "I Understand.." He paused, "Go back to camp.. I'll try and see if I can find her out here"
Otterfoot nodded and headed back home.
Berrybark looked everywhere but then he saw someone right on the bourder. He raced up to them. he paused, with a shocked face.
"It's not what It looks like.." Leaffeather whispered quitly.
"How could you leave us!" He shooted witha teary voice.
"I.. I will be back I'm just hunting for my um... sister! Yeah.."
"You never told me you had a sister... But you never lied to me before.. " He sighed.
"Good bye..." Leaffeather raced off from the Covenant territory. Leaving them behide.
Current Time
Maypaw was not happy.. rembering the time her mother left her. Was just to much. She was not in the camp. But looking for her own place to stay in the terratory away from everyone else. Life was just to hard here. All the time seeing other kits become apprentices as their mothers watch them and be proud of them.
She was done. She wipped her tears and headed out for a small den to live in. " I can live on my own I don't need Otterfoot or Daddy! Or anyone else!"
