Two days past the incident, and Edward still couldn't get the sting of annoyance out of his mind. As the now-common thought clouded his thoughts again, Edward grumpily pulled his car into an empty parking space. Get over it! She can't just hide from dancing forever... You can try her again, just give it some time. He mentally concluded. Nodding in self-agreement, the brunette slid out of the black vehicle. Those thoughts could wait, for now he was in bad need of something to eat. Rubbing his hands together in the chilled autumn air, the boy headed towards the market's front doors.

"What to get...?" He muttered under his breath, eying the rows of food products. Chawing habitually on his lip, Edward began strolling slowly through the market's isles.

I strolled through the grocery store filling my basket full with a bunch of junk food. I still felt terrible from that incident with that Ramonds guy, and I really just wanted to watch another marathon and shove my face full with a bunch of cr*p. I sighed as I reached forward and grabbed a bag of chips from the shelf and put it in my chart halfheartedly. I turned to go find something else when I saw him. "Seriously...?" I said quietly to myself as I turned around so I wasn't facing him and walked down the aisle trying to get away.

After forcing himself to place some healthy foods in his basket, Edward pulled a note from his pocket. The boy had been careful to write down how much money he could use this week. "Seventy-two..." He whispered. Licking his lips, Edward pushed his hand back into his pocket. The brunette's brown orbs kneaded as another paper tickled his fingers. Blinking, the male slowly lifted the thin, wrinkled note from his jeans. "Oh my..." He snorted in disbelief at the fading address written on the back of the old receipt. Rolling his dark eyes, Edward crammed the paper back into his pocket. Let's go check out the crap isle. He decided, quickly strutting towards the chips, cookies, and other junk-foods section - AKA: the crap isle. As he sharply veered into the section, Edward nearly choked on his tongue. An only too familiar woman was filling her own cart with chips and other junkie food. Now's your chance, his brain informed him. "Pearle! Or, I mean May... Hey!" He managed. The boy stepped after her, uncertain of her reaction.

ooc; Thank you! And don't worry, I totally understand the fact that school gets in the way and sports and stuff. I have dance three times a week and that takes up my night schedule! DX
ic; I let a sigh escape my lips as I turned around and looked at him. "Hi, may I help you?" I asked jutting my hip out and resting my hand on it in what seemed to be an imposing stance. I looked at his cart and say the healthy food piled high. Eww gross. I let my eyes rake over his body. He was good looking, still even after a couple days. Why? Why did he have to look good to me. Seriously God, wasn't there someone better for me? I let another escape my lips.

Edward paused as Pearle turned to face him. Unsure of what to say, the boy's tooth slumped against his lip. "Sorry about... the other night." He apologized. Shrugging lightly, Edward traded the basket to his other hand. "I guess I was kind of pushy." He decided. After saying the words, Edward's orbs squinted. Why'd you say that? You weren't being pushy! He mentally snarled at himself. Shoving the thought away, the male returned his sights to Pearle. He had to admit, she was a pretty girl. Her face had that special roundness that had always attracted him, and her shining eyes somehow reminded him of hot chocolate on a cold winter night.

I let a sigh escape my lips and relaxed my body, taking a couple steps forward so I was closer to him. "You weren't being pushy at all, don't worry. I just don't dance anymore." I said with a small smile. I really just didn't want to talk to him anymore, but I had to get it straight that I wasn't going to dance ever again in my life. "If you understand that I won't talk about it, or do it then I think we are good. Right?" I didn't wait for a reply. "Alright. Goodbye." I turned around and started walking down the aisle my basket bouncing little against my hip as I walked away not wanting to talk to him again.

Releasing a quiet sigh of relief, Edward allowed the girl to bring out her side of the story. His dark orbs traveled her expression as she spoke. "Yeah." He mumbled amidst her words. The brunette's hand lightly ran through his shining hair thoughtfully. His gaze glinted sharply up as Pearle swiveled to make her leave. "Whoa, wait...!" He began, lunging a step after her. On second thought, Edward pulled himself to a stop, eyes anxiously staring after the girl. Chawing against his lip, the boy struggled to come up with words to say.

ooc; haha don't worry about it! And I'll always have muse for this thread!
ic; I glanced behind me and looked into Edwards eyes. "What?" I asked with a slight edge to my voice. I turned my body so our fronts were facing each other and balanced my basket on my hip. I let out a sigh and blinked as I waited for a reply from the man. I was hoping he wouldn't ask about when I danced, because too many insecure and horrible memories surrounded those years that I used to dance. Normally I would've kept walking down the aisle and wouldn't of paid him any heed. But something was different with his character. Maybe it was the whole I think he's cute or something that made me want to listen to him. Or that his persistence just made me give in. But from what I knew I was going to have to listen to him anyway, because he wouldn't leave me alone. So I did.
