Polluxa nodded.
"I understand." she said softly.
She was glad that they both felt the same. She felt safe with Ares, as if noting could harm her. But she also knew noting could be further from the truth. Brutus would target her if he knew the truth. But she worried about Ares. Being the Regent's son and heir meant not that he was safe. She sighed.
"We should probably go before someone sees us..." she said softly, not wanting Ares to misunderstand, but not wanting the wrong eyes to see them either.
Alcastor closed his eyes at her words, then glared at Xavier who huffed.
"I'm sorry you had to go through that... both of you." he said softly. Alcastor bit vback a retort, then looked at Guinevere, pain, worry and uncertainty in his eyes.
"I-I'm sorry you had to hear that..." he gritted out through his teeth. "And... I'm sorry... f-for betraying you... but there was no other way!"
