• Leafkit stared out from a small shaft on in the floor of what was used for the Nursery a lot. She was bored and miserable. Leafkit was tired of doing nothing, was tired of listening to the squeeks and cries of kits playing and fighting with each other. She wanted something to do, badly. She was so bored. But she was not going to play with the other kits. Leafkit was also tired of dealing with her sister's hate, and the coldness she was given by some warriors for being a cat not born to Sunclan. Leafkit just wanted desperately to have something to do, to do something in her life. For the first she seemed to think that she would never be able to do that in Sunclan.

*Sigh* Leafkit wondered miserably out of the shaft, tail dragging in the dust and trash. She hated everything about this clan, and wished she was back at home in Riverclan. But their was no place for her their. She had no kin, no cat that loved her or even seemed to notice her. Leafkit crouched down, staring at the cats around her. None of them seemed famliar, none of them friendly. She let out another miserable sigh, and bowed her head. "I don't belong anywhere. There is no place left for me," she whispered. Leafkit looked into the Nursery, and tipped her head to one side. Do I really belong here? She thought to herself. Do I even belong to the clans of the forest? Leafkit wrapped her tail around her paws, enveloped in memories of her past.

  • Berylkit walked up to Leafkit.
    "Wanna play?" She mewed.

  • Leafkit looked up in surprise as another kit padded over to her. She tipped her head to one side. "Really?" She mewed. "You want to play with me?" Leafkit was to surprise to remember that she hated playing.

  • Like Frostkit, was the first thought that ran through her mind. Leafkit shook it away. Berrylkit looked as though she wanted to play, so she guessed she would join in.

"Alright," Leafkit shrugged. "I don't know if I am rough or not, though," she added.

  • Leafkit shuffled her paws in embarrassment. She felt her ears beginning to burn and she avoided Berrylkits eyes.

"Uhhhmm.... I don't really know any games," she meowed, frankly.

  • "Well, i can teach you moss catch. I throw moss ball at you and you catch it." She explained.

  • "Really?" Leafkit mewed, flicking her tail with excitement. "That sounds like an easy game... Is it?" She asked. She thought she had seen kits playing around sometimes, a ball of moss or something between them and throwing it to each other within the circle.

  • "Okay!" Leafkit mewed. She hauled a ball of moss from her nest in the nursery over. "Catch!" She cried out, throwing the moss ball up high for Berrylkit to grab. She thought she was going to like this game...

  • Leafkit bounded up to catch the moss ball. The flung it back to Berrylkit, wondering why this game had never interested her before....

  • Leafkit leaped high, and grabbed it in her claw as it whizzed beneath her. She grabbed the moss ball in her teeth and launched it back across to Berrylkit.

  • "Thanks!" She meowed. Leafkit grabbed it in her teeth and threw it back to Berrylkit.

  • "What do you mean by that?" Leafkit joked back. If the moss ball had been thrown back she didn't see it. "Mouse-dung! I missed it!"
