» welcome
welcome to the tribe of wavering echoes, a new tribe that inhabits the mountains & surrounding pine forests.» history
having recently band together as loners in order to survive, the tribe of wavering echoes is still working on getting things to run smoothly. this puts a great amount of pressure on the new leader, who is young and inexperienced. some ideas are borrowed from the clans, others from tribes.» territory & camp
the cats that live here reside in the mountains, their camp being a small rocky clearing near the mouth of a large cave. mossy plant growth is abundant and a protective wall of trees encircles the camp. the ground is often quite muddy, however, a lot of the ground is also covered in slabs of rock, so keeping paws dry is not an issue.although there is not a specific den for each ranking, cats may sleep in holes and crevices of the surrounding rocks, or in the main cave's entrance, where the fresh-kill pile is located and a little further back is the nursery, where there is water tumbling from above into a shimmering pool. the falling water lulls kits into sleep at night.
the cave tunnels are extensive, and although fun to explore, it isn't recommended to venture too far. only high ranks are taught how to maneuver them and reach the echo stone, a whispering rock jutting out from a pool of water used to communicate with ancestors.
the healer's den is located under the roots of a large dead tree, and the leader's den is located in a large crevice in the rock wall.
surrounding the camp are prey abundant pine forests, rocky terrain with sparse plant growth and a vulture-filled gorge it's advised not to go near. a large river runs through the whole of the territory. some parts of it are shallow, others still and deep, and some rapid and dangerous.
» climate
typically a comfortable temperature throughout most of the year. in greenleaf the gorge can get quite hot, but the tribe's altitude and the shade provided by trees makes for a desirable climate until leafbare when the weather can become -
