    All right, this is a fairly flexible thread. My basic idea is for two successful musicians who sing different types of music fall in love/become close friends. My character, Alexandra Evans, is a talented musical theatre actress who is currently on Broadway (as you may be able to tell from my profile, I like musicals. A lot). Your character can be a rock/pop star or something, whatever you like. If anybody wants to try this plot with me, please post this form:

    Name: Alexandra "Alex" Evans

    Personality/History/Likes/Dislikes (optional): Alex got her start on Broadway as a kid playing Young Cosette in Les Misérables. She then took a break until her teenage years, when she played a few roles in smaller productions. After that, she decided to just throw herself into it and ended up playing Sophie in Mamma Mia!, the title role in Cinderella, and finally landing the role of Elphaba in Wicked. She's very dedicated to her career and works hard to keep her voice in good shape. She also does a lot of character development.
    Genre of music they play/their career: Musical theatre.
    Looks: Slender, but wiry and pretty strong. Her natural hair is blonde and she has bright green eyes.
    Other stuff: Disclaimer--her history and stuff may change a little bit later. It's not a final draft.

    Great! Thank you so much for posting :) I've been trying to do this plot with someone for a while now, and it never really worked. I am so excited! Take as much time as you need for his personality.

    Are you an aspiring musician? Do you play rock like your character, or a different type? Play any instruments?

    Well, I play piano and violin but I really want to get into guitar and do acoustic or alternative. My big goal is going to college to learn how to work in a recording studio so I can do that, and record and everything else on the side.

    Cool :) My dad has a recording studio, and I mostly use it to sing show tunes where my family can't hear me. BTW, about what time of day is it where you are? Feel free to not answer if you're not comfortable. I just want to get an idea of your time zone. It's early-ish morning here. I just woke up a little while ago.

    I think it was close to 7:00 AM. I'm EST and am actively posting here, normally, 6:30 - 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM(Depends on how late I feel like staying up ^^).

    Absolutely! How should we begin? Do you have an idea for the first scenes? I was thinking maybe they meet at some music seminar or something, but I'm not set on it. Whatever you want.
