She sighed a bit as she leaned back sighing. "Oh, sounds bittersweet." She mumbled looking at the sky absently as she twirled the necklace on her neck ideally and mindlessly. She stretched and looked towards him a slightly curious look on her face.

His facial expression seemed to slowly grow sorrowful as he sat in silence, watching the sky. But, as soon as he felt her gaze on him, he turned to look at her, his eyes didn't seem defensive at all, nor aggressive, just seemingly close to lifeless. Turning his head away, he stood up as he said quietly, "I'll be inside..." Hopping off the rooftop, he landed on his feet and went to the front door, going inside. He sat down on the couch, placing a hand on his face, a grimance crossed his face as his hand clenched up in a fist.
-
She nodded shrugging a bit as she looked back up towards the sky. She could tell he was going through the pain, but she wasn't sure she really wanted to go talk to him about his problems. She wasn't even close to comfortable hearing about his dark past.
-
Resting back on the couch, he leaned his head back, his gaze settling on the ceiling as he forced himself to relax. Eventually, he relaxed enough to soften his facial expression as he took in a breath and exhaled.
-
She yawned as she finally got up from her place. She walked in blinking as she looked at him. She said nothing as she headed to the fridge and grabbed an apple. "So do you ever a eat anything, well besides blood?" She asked curiously.
-
He turned his gaze on her, a slight smile crossed his face as he said calmly, "Nope. I'm practically an undead corpse." He sat up as he yawned, seeming in a lazy mood, "If I do consume regular food, it won't digest, the stomach acid that I still have in my body will simply burn it away, but it won't do anything for me." He gazed at Haley, "I can't sleep, I can't eat. That's basically along all the things that I've lost... as well as... feeling any emotions or pain." He looked away, "I feel like I should feel something... but it feels so dulled. Sometimes, I wish I was human again."
-
She tipped her head as she took a bit of the apple yawning a bit. "Well that must be pretty hard." She observed not really knowing what else to say. "I think you must feel something, otherwise you would be dead emotion is just a way you feel and obviously you feel something. All be it very little, but something's there." She said shrugging a tiny bit.
-
He chuckled, his red gaze focused on her as he said calmly, "Maybe... but who knows what I could feel. But... maybe you're right." Standing up, he walked over and gently kissed her forehead, saying quietly, "Thank you." With that, he disappeared, most likely up on the roof again.
-
She froze again and then raised and eyebrow and then rolled her eyes. She took another couple bites to the apple and threw the remainder into the trash before heading outside.
-
Dante was relaxing on the house as his eyes have closed, dozing as he laid there, yawning and stretching briefly. He wished he could sleep. Sitting up, he stared towards the direction of the city, lost in thought.
-
She took a deep breath as she changed into her pjs and headed to her room. She hummed to herself as she laid her head on the pillow yawning loudly. She blinked her eyes as she closed her eyes as she closed her eyes a bit.
-
Standing up, he jumped off of the rooftop, his attention apparently caught by something. His gaze became alert as he followed after the scent that had grabbed his attention. Moving swiftly, he began to follow the scent towards the city... it smelt familiar, but it wasn't a scent that was particularly welcoming. Patrolling around this city... well, it wasn't as if he did it often, he only arrived there a few days ago, and it wasn't his intention to stay around for much longer. Besides, this could only be trouble... he could feel it already.
-
She yawned a bit trying to fall asleep although it wasn't working. Probably because of last night, but who could be sure she took a deep breath blinking a bit. She sat up in bed looking around blankly as she rubbed her eyes a bit as she yawned.
-
Coming into the city, Dante's eyes narrowed as he slowly went towards the direction of the scent, feeling his suspicions begin to rise with very cautious step that he had took. Eventually the scent stopped at the other side of the city, near the forests beyond. Stopping before he got too far, he muttered, "No use in going any further. Whoever it was must've lost interest." Turning away, he made his way back, but couldn't help but feel a cold feeling. Eventually he made his way back, quickly climbing back on the roof and relaxed there, though his crimson eyes scanned around the house in an alert manner.

There was no way she was going outside. Every time she did something happened and well now she had a vampire there because of it. She yawned as she laid down again turning her back away from the window and started to close her eyes.
-
Remaining on guard for a few more minutes, he finally decided that nothing was going to attack the house, relaxing, he went through Haley's window, seeing that her back was turned, a sharp gleam sparked in his eyes as he moved over to the side of the bed, sitting silently on the edge, he thought, 'I suppose... staying near her for the night won't hurt..' He slowly laid down next to her, a small smile on his face.
-
She slept soundly for a good while until just before sunrise. She blinked a bit as she opened her eyes. Her eyes widened as she saw Dante laying there. She blinked and stayed quiet tipping her head. "Morning." She mumbled blinking a bit.
-
Dante's attention turned towards her, a slight smirk crossing his face as he said, " 'Morning Haley," He sat up, tilting his head as he asked in a nonchalant tone, "Slept well? No nightmares I suppose?" The smirk gentled out into a small, even friendly smile for once that made his face at least relax enough to seem less threatening.
