He grinned as he watched Greenfall head away. He must not have been as clueless as he thought. Blinking at him gratefully, he began to lead Lightfur away from camp.

Lightfur smiled back at Hawkflight, then brushed her cheek against his. "Hmm~ I'm hungry, so lets hurry on with the hunting!" She scented the air, look curious.

He purred and led Lightfur up to one of the thick mossy trunks. "Do you wanna climb up first?" He asked gently. "Incase you fall?"

Lightfur smiled. "Sure~" She jumped up the tree, then looked back down at Hawkflight. "C'mon up!" She said, tail curling around the branch she was on.

Scrunching his face in determination, he sprang up and gripped the trunk, scrambling up to pant beside Lightfur. "I don't like climbing so much." He admitted, shaking out his fur. "I'm too big."

Lightfur gave him a comforting smile and licked his cheek. "You're fine...Its not hard, once you get used to it." She looked around at the forest around them, eyes scanning the area for prey.

He nodded, feeling flustered, and looked above them, tasting the air. Sighting a parrot above them, he froze and began to think of a plan to get at it.

Lightfur kept her eyes on the ground, unaware of the bird above them. "Hmmm..." She said softly.

Wriggling his hindquarters, he sprang into the air and snatched the bird from its branch. Tossing it into his jaws to finish it, he turned just in time to land on the small branch. He wrapped his paws around the trunk in his fear of falling, feathers drifting everywhere.

Lightfur looked up in surprise. "Wow! I didn't see that..." Her tail curled up happily. "Nice catch~"

He purred and dropped the bird into the bushes below. Shakily, he peeled himself from the tree trunk and shook out his fur. "Thanks." He huffed, out of breath.

Lightfur clambered down the tree and began scenting the air in search of more prey. She caught a slight trail, and her instincts took over. She bent down into a crouch and began to stalk silently.

Jumping down into the bushes, he retrieved his parrot. Settling down with the bird in bewtween his paws, he began to pluck the feather from it and make a small pile to take back to camp for his nest, keeping one eye on Lightfur.

Lightfur scented the air, eyes set straight on the bushes. She then lunged forwards and disappeared for a second, then reappeared with a small bird in her mouth- one that had been foolish enough to land on the ground.

IC: Hawkflight purred as he kept plucking feathers. "Nice one." he murmured appreciatively.

Lightfur's tail curled up besides her. "Perhaps a few more catches, then back to camp?"

He nodded and flicked his tail across her cheek, a habit that he had picked up. Spotting a small monkey above his head, he eyed curiously. he hadn't seen one himself before, but he new they lived up in the trees. He began to debate whether or not to go after it.

IC: Dappleleaf kept a eye on her kits, Dawnkit was asleep, Dapplekit gazed up at her mother, her voice was sweet. "Mama? Can I go see if the medicine cat needs help?" She asked. Meanwhile Icekit and Duskkit were playfighting outside the nursery.
