    ic; I rushed into my work building, which was only a couple of blocks away from coffee shop. I walked in my heels clicking loudly on the marble floor. I rushed over to my friends office and knocked on it. I heard a come in and I walked in going towards the desk and leaning over, watching my friend type at her computer. "The story?" I asked breathlessly, my chest rising and falling fast. "An apartment complex on the outskirts of the city blew up. I'm almost ready to go..." My friend(Julia) said as she typed one last sentence and sprang from her chair. She grabbed her bag and we headed out of her office together.

    IC: I continued to work until I had no more pictures to edit,"Now what..?" I muttered to myself, finishing my coffee, which I had drank while I worked obviously. I threw away the paper cup and muffin wrapper in the trash can by my desk and leaned back in my chair, I raised an eyebrow at my computer screen as I got a message,'Photo opportunity Rider! Go get it before someone else!' the message read and I frowned, I needed details before I went to take photos. Clearly, I was not going to be getting any except the address, I threw my camera into my messenger bag and got up and began walking out of the building to the location, as I walked I began fiddling with my camera, making sure it had enough battery, it was on the right setting, all that important stuff.

    ic; Me and Julia arrived at the scene, flames licking the sky and smoke drifting with the wind. I rushed up to a police man holding people back from behind a yellow caution rope. "Excuse me! Sir, I'm with the ________ newspaper(OMG WHAT SHOULD THE NAME BE?) and I was-" I was cut off. "Sorry Ma'am, we don't know whats happening just yet. You'll have to wait." he said turning to other people telling them to stand away. I turned and headed towards another Police officer. I was going to get my answer, and I don't care where it came from.

"So to make this clear, you heard a boom and then saw the smoke and fire? You came here as fast as you could and came upon this." I asked to receive a nod from the person who was obviously shaken up from the whole thing. "Thank you." I said turned to find someone else to interview, forgetting that Colton was still there.

    IC: I snapped out of my thoughts a moment or two later after Lynna left. I sighed and began to snap some photos of the burning apartment complex, making to to get a lot of good angles. I bit my lip in concentration, furrowing my eyebrows as I snapped photos,occasionally I would glance in Lynna's direction and smile, she was pretty cute, almost like a bear cub, she seemed to have an edge to her.

I sighed, I never liked doing these kind of stories, happier ones were better. But someone had to do them. And that someone might as well be me.

My body was exhausted because I hadn't worked that hard in a while.
