"You were staring at me, I happened to notice that and we started a conversation. Isn't that how it normally works?" I asked resting my chin on my hand. I sighed loudly and continued.     IC: I nod my head and think for moment before speaking,"True, true," I say and cross my arms before smirking. My dark brown eyes scan over her facial features, studying them, trying to figure out exactly what made her beautiful to my eyes. After a couple minutes I couldn't figure it out, I was just drawn to her in some way that I'm sure I wouldn't ever figure out.

    ic; "U-uhhhh... umm, I-I..." I said embarrassingly, my hand going up to hide my flushed cheeks. I coughed trying to hide my stuttering and took another sip of my coffee, which was now cold and almost gone. But I needed to do something so I could think of what to say. Was he serious? He looked pretty serious, but most men could play it off like it was nothing. Ugh I don't know what to do. I thought. I put my mug down and looked him in the eye, my cheeks a roaring red. "I.. I don't know what to say.. but thank you and I'm sorry but I'm not looking for anyone right now." I said looking away back at my laptop. The screen had faded black a while ago. I reached over and closed it, putting it back in my bag along with my notebook.

    ic; "Yeah... uh bye." I said under my breath. Why was he leaving so urruptly. Was it because I had said I wasn't interested, probably. I wasn't going to see him again, and I was fine with that. I put everything back into my bag, gulped what was left of my cold coffee and headed for the door. I pushed my bangs out of my face and headed down the sidewalk towards my apartment complex so I could finish my work in peace.

I walked past the cafe which I had been in the morning before. I'm not going in. I told myself as I continued to walk down the sidewalk. "Who am I kidding?" I muttered to myself turning around and walking through the glass doors. I walked up to the counter and ordered a Mocha again and sat at a table near the window. I pulled out a newspaper from my bag and started flipping through til I found one of my own articles.

    IC: I had barely gotten sleep last night because of Heath, I swear that dude never sleeps. I grumbled as I walked along the sidewalk on my way to work, my boss will kill me if I'm late again. I sighed and passed the cafe from yesterday when the girl I met, Lynna, caught my eye. I smiled and strolled into the cafe, I only had a couple minutes to spend talking, but I'm glad it'll be with her. I walked over to where she was sitting,"Look at that, we meet again, Lynna," I say, smiling at her as I sit across from her.

I grabbed my paper cup filled with steaming mocha coffee and took a sip from it, a smile lay on my lips. "Should I be honored to have you sit with me this morning?" I asked smirking. I put my newspaper down and looked up at him, he looked tired but cute. Sort of what you'd think he would look like right after he got up. Okay no stop thinking that way... stop.

    IC: I shook my head as I fast-walked to work, I seriously cannot afford to be late, I was way past late yesterday, if I'm late today I'll get down graded. The place I worked at, a photography industry was only a couple of blocks away so I began to run. I had my black and red messenger bag swinging as I ran, occasionally hitting my hip. I panted as I stopped running and opened the door and put on a smile before checking in and going to my boss's office. Lynna was still on my mind as I sat down in front of my boss who was frowning at me,"You were almost late again, Rider. I'm glad you actually got your head straight, but try not to be late or I will have to fire you, and I would hate to do that, you are one of our best photographers," my boss said, his voice deep and menacing. I nod my head and apologize before he sends me off to work.

    ic; I had already drank all of my coffee, and reread most of the articles in the newspaper. Nothing to do. I heard a small beep and looked at my phone which was vibrating on the table. I sighed and put the newspaper down, reaching for my phone. I swiped the screen and saw a new text message. It only had a couple of words. 'BIG STORY! COME NOW! I stood up fast shoving some stuff into my bag swung it over my shoulder and headed towards the door. I threw away the paper cut in the trash before reaching out and opening the class door. I walked out and down the sidewalk towards my office.

    IC: I sat at my computer desk, editing photos I had taken of people, I smile as I edit them , making sure there was nothing wrong with the photo, I hated messing up. I blinked as someone called my name,"Colton!" I head. I looked towards the voice,"Oh hey Heath, what are you doing here?" I ask, raising an eyebrow at my friend and he hands me coffee and muffin,"You forgot to eat," Heat says and I thank him, suddenly realizing how famished I was. "Thanks, now go away, I'm working," I say and shoo him off. I take a sip of my coffee and a bite of my muffin, getting back to work.
