    Backstory:
    Rosamarie was given up for adoption as an infant, and found a home before she turned a year old. She has no memories of her biological parents, and was raised by a childless couple, who adopted two others a few years before Rosie.
    She had a good life, one cannot deny that, but as her siblings moved out and her parents became big-shots at work, she was left to her own more and more. She first discovered the drums when she was 12 and joined the school marching band. Not long after she saved up money to buy her own set, as she felt it was something she had to do on her own. She found herself a natural at it, and, after discovering the band, she joined them enthusiastically.
    She found out about the cancer a month ago, and has an operation scheduled for after the tour ends.
