She blushed a little. "Not sure I mind, either." She said, and sat on her bed. "Do you know when other people are gonna get here?" She asked, changing the subject.

"Probably in a little while," Ryan replied.

She nodded quietly and walked onto the porch and sat on the stairs, staring out into the ocean.

Ryan pulled his short off and headed outside, ready to swim.

She looked at him and decided to go swimming too. Growing up in Vermont had made her extremely cold hardy, but also super sensitive to heat. She went inside and changed into a green bakini. She jumped into the water, splashing Ryan in the face.

"I love the cold water. Swimming in the middle of Drcember makes you oblivious to the cold," Ryan said.

"Trust me, I know." She said. She remembered diving into glaciers in the middle of the winter.

"Wjere are you from anywaus?" Ryan asked.

"Vermont." She replied.

"Oh, sounds like a nice place. I'm from Louisiana," he replied.

She nodded. "Cool. What do you wanna do?" She asked with a friendly smile. She was already starting to get bored without her dog and computer.
