OOC: Kk.
IC: Leaf-Bare looked beautiful, white, sparkling snow blanketed the forest. Even though it was sunhigh, it was still freezing. A caramel tom sat in a birch tree, gazing up into the sky. The clouds were darkened, sending off a signal a blizzard was on it's way. The tom frowned, realizing he needed to find shelter before the storm hit. He lifted off of his hind quarters, accidently shaking the branch, causing glittering snow to fall onto the tom. The tom shook his fur clean of the substance, making his pelt damp. He grunted in annoyance, grooming a few damp spots in his fur. The cat bounded down from the low branch, into a pile of snow.
-
Souls blue eyes grew wide as a tom landed near her in the fluffy leaf bare snow. She scrurried backwards, her small, not nearly full grown thin figure being buried into the whitefluff. Only her brown tailtip and face stuck out from the snow. She shivered slightly both from cold and fear that the young tom would see her. Her breathing was rapid, and panting. She felt ashamed. Why did this always happen to her? She was paralyzed with anxiety.
-
The caramel tom jumped out of the snow, again shaking it off of his pelt. He was now soaking wet, the cold, wet snow had left his fur dripping. He grumbled, freezing and shaking. His ear twitched, he could hear a heavy breathing coming from nearby. He turned around, instantly discovering blue eyes looking straight at him. The tom paused, not knowing what to say. His legs felt like jelly, causing him to wobble, atempting to stand. He usually did not communicate with other felines, but now he needed to say something, he did not want to make a bad impression. He opened his mouth, attempting to say a greeting, but all that was heard was jibberish. "Er, uhm," he blurted attempting to say something. C'mon, say something! he thought, scolding himself.
-
He made a small noise in her throat, and drew backplastering her ears to her small head. Her eyes wider then before. Her long fir had become drenched and clumps of snow stuck to it while the cold seeped through her fur and into her skin.
-
The tom cleared his throat nervously, stepping forward carefully. "Hello," he mewed anxiously, attempting to show her a friendly smile, instead a nervous smile appearing on his face.
-
Hi" she whispered quietly without moving,
(Low muse sorry!
-
"So, uhm," the tom continued, trying not to make this more awkward than it was. "What's your name? I'm Brewster," he spoke silently, but not exactly a whisper.
-
s-soul"she whispered as she trembled, shrinking lower into the snow even thouhher body was numb from the cold
-
Brewster felt a bit of pity for the feline as she trembled in the freezing cold. "Do you need a place to stay? I know an abandoned cave with a small pond inside, and last time I checked, it was not frozen," he smiled, pointing his tail in the direction of the cave, East.
-
the young she cat gave a small nod, but didnt move.
-
The tom padded in the direction of the cave, turning his head back to the she-cat. "Are you coming?" he asked.
-
she nodded again. cautiously and slowly she followed, sky colored eyes still wide. clumps of snow stuck to her long thick fur. She walked with a slight limp, something she had been born with. it always was like this, and it always ached slightly, but didn't often cause her real pain. she placed each paw carefully in thesnow, but now had her ears pricked and listening.
-
Brewster padded along the snow-filled ground, still feeling a tad anxious. The two quickly arrived at a large cave, a small pool able to be seen inside. The pool sparkled in the sunlight as it flowed through the cave, lighting up the inner section. "There ya go," Brewster said, pointing at the cave with a lifted paw.
-
Thank you" she she cat in the midst od an anxiety attack mumbled. Tail dragging behind her and head liw, her body tensd and shaking she padded inside. Lying diwn next to the pond, and pulled her fluffy tail over her face, hising it, trying to get warm again
