    IC: Letting out a throaty sob, the young feline ducked down, gently grabbing Ashtail by the scruff, pulling her to safety out of the bloody battleground, his eyes blazing with fear but determination, managing to safely get her into the Medicine Cat den, where Dapplerose would see to her, his tail lashing anxiously as he sat beside her huddled shape, refusing to leave.


    Pinefall's eyes glinted with cold fury. Before the fox could do anything, he lunged at it, sinking his fangs into it's muzzle visciously with a battle cry. How dare this useless excuse for a creature attack Petalgaze! Spitting with rage, he dug his claws into it's chest.



    Applestar appeared at Midnightpaw's side. ''Need some help?'' He inquired. Without waiting for an answer, he aimed for the fox, getting a nice long scratch in.

    IC: Ashtail started to come through with a cough. She opened her eyes but then closed them in pain. She coughed again and flinched at the end of it. She felt horrible. And the large gash on her back didnt help.

    Midnightpaw frowned and screeched, leaping at the fox. He gripped its leg and bit hard, blood dribbling down his maw. It swung him off and ran away, limping.

    IC: Whimpering, Scorpionstrike reached down, nuzzling the ashy she-cat, his golden eyes filled with fear. ''Dapplerose!'' He mewed, his voice oddly frantic.




    ''I'm coming, I'm coming, keep your fur on please.'' Dapplerose called back gently, padding forward, her jaws loaded with leaf-wraps of herbs. Laying them down, she unfolded them, chewing a poultice of Marigold, Dock, and Oak leaves, dipping her paw in the paste, and gently running the medicine along Ashtail's back calmly. Grabbing a bunch of cobweb and moss, she dabbed away what was left of blood, and rushedly dressed the wound with cobweb, soaking abit of moss and laying a poppy seed with the moss near Ashtail for when she woke, going back to her herb store to pluck more supplies. ''I have to get out on the battlefield, cats could be hurt.'' She said through a mouth of herbs, exciting the den swiftly.


    Scorpionstrike lay his muzzle on her head, closing his eyes, throat tightening with relief and emotion. [/size]

    IC: Ashtail awoke and looked at the poppy seed and watered moss. She reached out a weak paw and ate the poppy seed. She still layed there too weak to stand. Let alone sit up.

    IceClaw burst through the bushes to follow WhiteFoot's scent, Maplepaw and DragonRush on her heels.
    She yowled as a fox ran past her, but it managed to pick up Maplepaw as it past. Losing sight of her sister, IceClaw wailed as she spotted the young she cat hanging from the fox's jaws. IceClaw took of after them, catching up quickly and jumping on the fox's back, shredding her claws down the course pelt of the fox. it flung Maplepaw aside in screeched in agony and flung the she cat of its back, the fox disappeared into the trees. DragonRush pursued after the fox to check if it ran away. IceClaw rushed over to her sister "Maplepaw! Maplepaw! Get up!" she pleaded as the young apprentice opened her eyes, letting out a weak whimper of pain before closing them again. Her shoulder was in an awkward place, and the back of her neck was bleeding. IceClaw slipped under her sister, and slowly carried her to camp.

    IC: Whitefoot clung to a foxes muzzle as it shook its head in and effort to shake him off.


    Ashtail rolled over on her belly and lifted her head. She watched as he left. She slowly stood and regained strength. She would die for her clan. She raced out jumping ona foxes back. She clawed as fast as lighting into it leaving scratches every where.

    Midnightpaw, being nearly the size of Petalgaze, he dragged her to camp. He felt a tear roll down, and he shook it away. He ran into Dapplerose on accident.

Dapplerose said in surprise as Midnightpaw bumped into her, searching the young tom's gaze before her navy eyes traveled to Petalgaze, and she flicked her tail on Midnightpaw's muzzle, so he'd put Petalgaze down. Instantly she began gently running her small paws along the deputy's body, feeling for any bumps that would indicate broken bones.

    Petalgaze winced as Dapplerose ran her paws along her left shoulder. It was shifted to the left oddly. It wasn't broken, just misplaced. She licked a bit of blood from her mouth and grimaced. It was fresh and tasted like foxdung, and fox.


    Midnightpaw sighed in relief, thankful she was alive.

She placed one paw just about above Petalgaze's paw, placing the other paw on her lower shoulder. ''Place your paws behind Petalgaze's shoulder blade, please.'' She told Midnightpaw gently, knowing how terrifying this must be for the young cat, so she expected he may need a little calm and comfort.

    IC: Ashtail lept at a fox even though she was wounded. She fox threw her aside and a unsettling crack could be heard from her back. She yowled in pain before falling silent. This time she wasnt breathing. She was losing a life.

    IC: Snowpelt, Ravenkit, and Ghostkit had wandered out into the territory surrounding camp. They came near camp to see Ashtail fighting a fox, Snowpelt instinctively lunged at it.
