  • Kiki raised her hands to stop him but put them down, letting him hold her face. Her hands ended up between his legs unintentionally. "Can you please just tell me some time?" she asked, leaning a bit closer and moving her hands upward as she moved. "Promise you'll tell me someday?"

  • Gavin feels some excitement stir within him, her hand practically skimming the fabric of his jeans as he clears his throat. "Of course, I promise "he replies gently, caressing her cheek lightly with a warm smile, thoughts a haze as his attention rests upon each of her movements.

  • "Thank you Gavin. For everything. You're...your my friend and I'm proud to say that." She leaned closer and have him a light hug. Instead on her now, her knee manage to be placed near where her hands once were. "Thanks Gavin."

  • He calms once her hand was removed, embracing her in return before pulling away gently. "No problem, how is your arm? "Gavin inquires, enjoying her proximity to him.

  • "It feels fine but maybe a little stif. Kinda hurts but not as much as it did before," she replied. "You okay Gavin?"

  • "That's nice to know," she looked down and smiled faintly.

Outside, the two Nightmen from the club were ready and armed. It would be easier now that the kid had Gavin's mark off. Hard part would be to dispose of Gavin.

  • He reclines upon the bed and sighs gently, pausing as he smirks and senses a few men outside. "What is Evan doing out so early? "I mutter under my breath and shrivel into a shadow, streaking across the room in an effortless manner. "Be right back, doll "he says to Kiki, sensing only two of his trusted men standing outside the home. Unlike the gangs, the Nightmen seemed to possess a rather...overbearing bond.

  • Kiki nodded slowly in reply. Something was up. He just called her doll again. He only did that when flirting and when something was wrong. What's going on now?

  • Gavin pauses outside his door, sending out a mental message to the men yet they were ...blocked off. He immediately takes action and begins blessing the doors with shadows, a barricade only his brother could have overcome. Gavin shifts to the windows with a frown as a wave of ebony cloaks them. The lady of the house appears from her bedroom "eyebrows knit in confusion "return to your room and lock the door, Mrs. "I order, a pleading flicker alighting my bright blue gaze.

  • Kiki just couldn't sit and wait. She slowly got out of bed and went to the door, trying to listen to what was going on. She wasn't going to run away or be helpless this time. She wouldn't allow that.

  • Gavin sighs in satisfaction, eyes glowing a gorgeous blue as he attempts to calm the seething shadows he controlled. Coaxing the mistress into her room before drawing towards the front door wearily, an ebony haze slithering up his arm until it encompassed half of him, the marking upon his wrist glowing ominously as he slips outside to deal with the problem.

  • Kiki slowly opened the door to her room once Gavin had left. She didn't dare make a sound. She tiptoed to the kitchen and grabbed one of the kitchen knifes just in case the attackers came inside.

  • "What brought you two here? "I murmur coldly, gazing to the unwelcomed guests as I appear behind them in silence. Bright blue gaze practically seeping through their souls as I rest a firm hand upon their shoulders, glancing to their guns.

  • "What? You got a kid in there that a part of the gangs. What are we suppose to think?" The new class three asked. "You killed your brother's killer. What did this kid do? Or what is she going to do?" He asked. "Or... You didn't make her some 'pet' now, did you?"

  • A light smirk aligned his handsome features as he shrugs in reply. "What can I say, it gets a little lonely living by myself "Gavin mutters. Sarcasm dripping effortlessly from his full set of lips as he looks to them calmly. "She is under my command, therefore you may not touch her. "Gavin lies, bright gaze shifting to the front door of the home.

  • "That's a lie. I can tell when you're lying," the Nightman smirked. "Kid's free as can be. She doesn't have a mark. In fact, I don't think she liked what you did earlier doing that. You tell that little kid what you did?" He asked.

  • "Yes, I explained it...vastly "Gavin mutters. Gaze growing cold as he returns his attention to them once more. "Despite the lack of a mark, I don't think you will be advancing any more "

  • "Why's that? You got any other girls in there? Got some Nightmen on your back? Come on! We just want to see the merchandise!" He smirked.

  • "Don't worry. You will, I'm already losing interest. Maybe take out that one chick down the road next "he chuckles and considers his earlier question. "Maybe I do, what's the harm in having a little more fun "Gavin says, winking sarcastically.
