    Aimi was totally ignoring him as soon as he called Rei a dog "I'm sorry were you talking to me old man?" She asked looking over at him, unhappy "It's funny, it sounded like you were talking to some dogs but the only ones I see are your two mutts over there who only know how to sit and fetch" she growled

    The inspector sighed. "Do you pull on the leash this hard with Kana too?" the inspector said. "Look those are the orders, train Rei. When my division gets back from this next case I'll take you two to see Kana."


    "She might not if you didn't treat us like this," Rei said. He already didn't like this guy. Maybe Kana would be better to work for than him. Aimi said she was bossy but maybe she wasn't quite like this.

    "Well here's an order for you, keep your mouth shut and don't treat us like we're some sort of pet" Aimi told him "We don't wear collars or leashed and we don't come when called, we don't do tricks and we sure as hell don't have a "master"" Aimi growled "The only people whi fit that description are people like you"

    The inspector glared at her. "Stubborn dog," he muttered. "Just do what I say!" To him they were dogs and he owned them. Legally that was true though only temporary for Kana's dogs.


    One of the division 2 enforcers was smiling watching it obviously agreeing with Aimi. The other enforcer of division 2 stood up and came over. "You are being overly harsh...sir," he said. "They did just loose their inspector well temporarily. Why do you think I talked you into taking them to see her? Just let it go we have a case that we need to get on."

    "I thought they didn't let people like him become inspectors, so shouldn't he be an enforcer?" Aimi asked, frowning "I want to see Kana now" she told him, sounding extremely serious

    The enforcer who had spoken pulled the inspector back. "Go work on the crime," he said. The inspector glared at him. "I've had enough of them anyways," he said snapping at the enforcer.


    "I'm Yuchi," the enforcer said. "The inspector is dangerously close to being demoted to enforcer actually. Same thing as what happened to me. Our inspector has been more irritable than ever lately. As for Kana last I heard she was going into surgery this morning. If you left now I doubt you could get in to see her until she comes out of surgery."

    Aimi sighed in slight annoyance "I'm Aimi, and this is Rei" she told Yuchi "I'm not going to train him until we can see Kana, I think that's a bit more important than training"

    Yuchi nodded. "I understand, I don't know if I can convince the inspector though. We do have a case right now, it's a simple one though and it shouldn't take long. Maybe you could call the hospital and see when she'll be out."


    Rei didn't say anything. He hardly knew Kana so it didn't matter to him as much.

    Aimi sighed "I can just go over too, nobody will really care" she said shrugging "The Hospital won't spaz or anything either so, yeah...We'll just head over to the hospital after you guys leave"

    "Just don't get caught," Yuchi said. "If my inspector finds out your gone when we get back he'll probably send us after you."

    "I'll be careful don't worry" Aimi sighed, she'd have a dominator with her of course. "Did you find anything on Kana's killer yet?" she asked, knowing she had killed him but they didn't know that.

    Yuchi shook his head. "No, we just hit dead ends and couldn't find anything about it," he said. "The inspector just about shot me when I told him I couldn't find any leads."

    Yuchi nodded. "The case is being left open for now but I doubt we'll be able to solve it."


    "Yuchi!" the inspector snapped. "We're leaving. Come on. And you go train," he said glancing at Rei and Aimi before he left the room followed by the other enforcer.


    "I have to go, be careful," Yuchi said and hurried after the others.

    Rei followed her and picked up a Dominator himself. He froze for a moment listening to it. "I've never been shot by one of these," he said. "How does this work?"

    "It'll tell you what to do" Aimi told him, slipping her dominator into her pocket before stealing another set of keys and walked to the car they belonged to, sliding into the driver side.

    Rei nodded and put his away in the holster he'd put on and followed her to the car and got in. "I don't really know Kana much but she seems better than that other inspector."

    "Trust me, she is" Aimi told him and drove to the hospital, once they got there she got out and walked inside and up to the front desk "Hello I'm looking for Kana Fubashi"

    Rei followed her inside. He watched closely everything around them. It had been a long time since he wasn't locked up.


    The nurse at the front desk nodded and turned to the computer and typed in the name to look it up. "Kana Fubashi is in recovery right now. She just had an emergency surgery done. She probably will be back in her room in a half hour," the nurse said.
