    Kana smiled and shook her head. Why did Aimi have to be right? "Rei knows about the general idea but he need to be brought up to speed and trained," she said. There wasn't much training beyond how to use the Dominator and what was expected of them. "He will be staying in Kenji's old place," she said. After Kenji's injury he'd been taken off as an enforcer and put back up under lock and key. "Could you show him to it. It's right next to yours," she said.


    Rei didn't say much but it was obvious he was paying close attention. He seemed to be playing it safe not sure how much he could do yet or how far he could push Kana yet.

    Aimi nodded and grabbed Rei's arm and pulle him along until they got to the room "This is yours, I'm next store" she told him, there was a tone in her voice and a look in her eyes saying she didn't trust him at all yet.

    "Whoa! Hey!" Rei said and tried to pull out of her grip. "Um thanks," he said as she pointed out his room. His gaze only reflected Aimi's own he didn't trust her either. He didn't trust Kana or anyone really. He opened the door to the place and went inside shutting it behind him without another word.


    Kana smiled and left after Aimi took Rei to his room.

    After a while later the faint sound of Rei's door opening broke the silence. He slipped out of his room and went down the hall to the cafeteria and helped himself to some of the left over food and warmed it up in the microwave.

    A short while later Rei had come back with a plate of food. "Aimi?" he asked at the door expecting she'd gone to bed. He didn't think he'd get an answer and didn't want to wake her if she was asleep.

    "Sorry to bother you so late, I hope I didn't wake you," Rei said. "Just something isn't right. I dunno just I think Kana is in danger. I saw a man by her car when we left. It looked like he was tampering with it and he ran off when we came out, I didn't think much of it now but it would make sense to..." He stopped talking realizing he was rambling. "Am I just over reacting to nothing?"

    Aimi looked at Rei and stepped into te hall, quietly ahutting the door behind her. She attempted to call Kana on her watch hoping she was ok.

    Rei ate the food he had warmed up while Aimi called Kana. He waited but there was no answer. Kana didn't answer.

    Aimi frowned "She would of answered, even if she was asleep" she told Rei before walking down the hall, she knew enforcers wheren't allowed to leave but she was worried for Kana.

    Rei took one last bite of the food then put the plate on the floor by his door. He'd put it away later. Then he followed Aimi down the hall. "So where are we going then?" he asked though he had an idea of that he wasn't sure he liked that idea. Kana had told him one of the rules was he couldn't leave here.

    "We're going to see Kana" Aimi told him, on her way out she got a dominator and let it register before grabbing keys to a car "You coming or not?" she asked looking back at him "If she'd hurt we won't know until it's possibly to late"

    Rei hesitated for only a moment. "I'll come," he said. He glanced at the Dominator but didn't take one. For one he didn't know how to use it and Kana hadn't registered his use of it. He knew it wouldn't accept him. So he follow Aimi and got into the car. "Why would Kana be a target if that's what this is?" he asked. Maybe another crime was linked to this but he didn't know what crimes they'd already done since he was as new as they came to this. That or someone was just trying to take out inspectors.

    Aimi got in and started driving to Kana's house "I don't know, but for what most people know I'm just a stand in. But really I'm one of her actual dogs" she explained "So if someone did get to her, they didn't know I was her actual mutt"

    Rei nodded. "A stand in?" he said not understanding why others would think that. He already knew she was working under Kana as she'd explained it to him when they'd met. "Why do they call us that? dogs?" he said not liking the sound of it. It wasn't like he'd had many rights anyways with his crime coefficient so high and being found at a young age but he still didn't like it.

    "No idea" Aimi said sighing and pulled up to where Kana lived, she got out and put her dominator in her pocket "C'mon, if anything's happened there should be those weird droid things" she told him as she walked to the building

    "Hey Aimi? Where is Kana's car?" he asked glancing around. There was no sign of her car even being here. "Maybe she didn't make it home," he said but followed her into the building it was best they check here anyways to be sure.
