    Aimi walked into the office silently, her wound was bandaged up and she had a drink in her hand. She walked up behind Kana, not trying to scare her "So, who's joining this merry crew?" she asked even though she really didn't care at all who it was, she was just making herself known.

    Kana jumped slightly not expecting Aimi to come up from behind. She turned to face her quickly regaining her composure. She smiled seeing Aimi's wound bandaged up. At least she'd had done something about it.


    "That's why I'm going to find out. There are three options Sibyl gave me," she said turning on the tablet and showing Aimi the screen.

    Rei Ogami
    Age: 18
    Gender: male
    Crime Coefficient: 243.24


    Below the names was more information on each person. Tamasine and Ina had both been like any other person until their crime coefficients had gotten to high for various reasons. Rei however was like Aimi, he'd been marked as a latent criminal from a young age.


    "So one of them will be on our team," Kana said. "You coming with me then?"

    Aimi nodded and pointed to Rei "I recognize him..." she said looking at the information on him, she didn't know how but somehow he just seemed to pop out at her.

    "Do you know anything about him?" Kana asked surprised Aimi recognized him. She hadn't expected that.

    Kana nodded. "Well I'm going to go talk to the three of them and decide on one. Do you want to come? I could use your opinion on it," she said. "...sorry about shooting your earlier."

    Kana nodded. "Yeah but I'd rather not have to shoot you," she said. She'd been told even just that morning she needed to think of her enforcers as just tools, attack dogs not as her friends. But she didn't like to think of them that way. "If an inspector agrees to escort you then can leave off-hours," she said. "It just means I'll have to get a Dominator before we go. If you want to come you can."

    Aimi snickered "Why? So you can shoot me so you can get two new dogs to push around?" she asked sitting in a chair, leaning back in it with her hands on her lap.

    Kana sighed. "No," she said. "The Dominator is protocol only on me escorting you." She turned off the tablet she'd pulled up the info on. "And getting another enforcer is an order I was given," she said. "And we do need another enforcer on the team. I've lost two recently. If a big crime comes up we might not have the man power to handle it if I don't get more enforcers."

    Aimi shrugged "How about you go get him and I'll sit here to welcome you both back" she said and smiled sweetly, as if it was the best idea ever.

    Kana stood up not buying her act though. "Fine," she said. It wasn't like she could order Aimi to come with her she was off duty. She started for the door then paused. "Tell me though. Rei's psycho pass is a lot higher than the other two. Higher than yours actually. Is that good or bad?" she said. With it being higher he was more prone to crime than the others but as an enforcer that could work in their favor. The question was would he get out of control with his number being so high.

    "If they're letting him become an enforcer then you have nothing to worry about" Aimi told her sighing "I'd bring a dominator just in case though Kana"

    "Thanks and good idea," Kana said. That was true if Sibyl had deemed him an option for enforcer he wasn't likely to be a problem. She walked out of the room and got a Dominator before she left. It took a few hours before she returned. It was somewhat late and she was off duty but she had to return the Dominator she took and while she was there she might as well tell Aimi what had happened. "Aimi do you have a moment?" she asked using the watch like device on her wrist to contact her.

    "I wanted to tell you about our newest enforcer," Kana said. She was in the main lobby of the building it was closer to the basement area where enforcers lived. Aside from a few dim lights the lobby was mostly dark and empty.

    Kana smiled. "Him?" she said. "You already knew who I would pick didn't you." One of those listed had been a female so either Aimi was making a guess or she had known.

    "Uncanny, I swear you read minds," Kana said though was in jest. "Rei!" she called in answer to Aimi's question. The young man came into the room, he'd changed out of his prison clothes into jeans and a plain shirt they'd given him. "Hello," he said glancing at Aimi. He was rather young at only 18 but he seemed well composed something he could use to hide his real thoughts and motives.
