Ooc: Same here. Sorry about the short post. A lot of muse has had to go into school.

Ic: When the girl had been dismissed, she stood quietly, waiting for her companion. She wouldn't have been so antsy if not she been expecting Lucy to be fed and sent off to training with the prince. To be truthful, she was a bit excited to see her friend in proper Asgardian wear. It wasn't that she didn't like her Midguard attire, she just wanted to see what she'd look like. The blonde continued to ponder over many things about her acquaintance. What made her so important? If she was so very important, why was she human? Was she human? The young teen's thoughts were snapped back into place when Lucy had spoken, the blonde flinched like she'd been hit. She hadn't even heard her companion approach! Flashing a small, wary, grin she seemed to quietly beam. "You're quite welcome, Lucy." The shorter girl gave a ever-so-slightly wider grin. "Are you planning on having a morning meal?"

  • [Size=7pt]Now it was Lucy's turn to look surprised, "We get fed here? Oh yeah, right, I think Druain said something about it." she pondered the thought. Her memory wasn't the greatest in some situations. Fighting came as instinct, but basic needs and first names she had to put an effort into remembering. It's a palace you dolt, of course they feed you she scolded herself. "I suppose I shall, if it's alright. On the way, could you perhaps give a brief summary on how things go around here?" she asked. Lucy didn't want to be a burden, but really she had a feeling this place had no manner classes and a turtorial on how Asgard worked. She was a quick learner, but before hand sometimws she seemed to come off as dumb. She waited until the young blonde girl led the way to follow, noting her armor wasn't constricting her movements at all. Excellent...

Ooc: I am so so sorry! My tests are still happening and I complelety forgot

    Ooc: //wheezes
I guess that makes two of us then
Also, if you feel in a few more pages that they're falling for eachother too quickly, I'm sure a rut could be put in place by a slaughtering of a certain blonde handmaiden by an easily angered prince.

Ic: The blonde simply nodded and affirmative, and gave a quiet giggle. She hoped she was going to get to be very good friends with Lucy, even if it did take some time. As long as she wasn't always training with the prince of course. The amber-eyed girl presumed that her companion would not be going back to Midguard anytime soon. Or Earth as they called it? Nevertheless, she had faith that the green-eyed female would be staying for quite some time. When Lucy spoke again, she listened attentively, and gave a nod. "Of course." She continued down the corridor. "Since you'll be with the prince most days, your schedule will be similar, if not the same to his." The blonde's smile widened, but tightened. "I'm positive he'll give you more instructions on that." The young teen ran a hand through her golden waves. "Some days you'll have for yourself, since he has other duties as well." Pausing for a moment, she assumed Lucy was just about sick of hearing 'the prince this' and 'the prince that'. "But this is about you, and your duties here as one of us. So a lot of the time, freedom to do as you please will be yours after you finish your daily practice."

  • [size=7pt]Ooc: *le gasp* Oh no, the unnamed, blonde handmaiden. She's growing on me, that'd be good if they do start falling for each other too quickly. Or perhaps Lucy is starting to not mind being apart of the Asgard army, and that changes her mind.

Ic: Lucy was never known to be an expressive person, but her eyes widened when she heard the word 'freedom'. She never expected to have as much free time as the schedule sounded like it had. That gave her plenty of time to....explore. Perhaps she could meet some more people and make some alliance? Considering that this blonde lady acted like her friend, maybe she already had an alliance?
Can't be too certain, I have to show that I am loyal before I try to change anything she thought as the continued through the palace. It truly was beautiful, the gold, the overall feel to the place was even impressive. She couldn't help but let her eyes wander as they walked. "This place is beautiful, I've never seen anything like it before," she commented.

Ooc: I think so as well. I like both ideas, so it's honestly up to you to decide when, and if so.

Ic: While the handmaiden did notice the slight surprise that had emanated but a few seconds from the lovely miss Lucy. The young teen bit the inside of her cheek, and blinked. She'd hoped she hadn't done anything to offend. Nevertheless, she quieted considerably, and avoided the chromatic emerald gaze of the older female. When Lucy spoke, her attention was forced to the brunette. "But of course. Asgard is a step higher than Midguard, your world would certainly be considerably different from ours." The blonde held her tongue, as she was tempted to murmur out some of the advances in their society, but she supposed she'd quiet down. After all; if her home was brutally taken over and practically torn apart by the hinges by foreigners who had only the sole desire to conquer and slaughter, she wouldn't want to hear from them about how great a society they were.

  • [size=7pt]Lucy only nodded in agreement, keeping silent for the rest of the journey. Her curiosity made her talkative at moments, which was dangerous most of the time. However it could be an advantage, considering people believed a talkative person was someone to be trusted. Lucy indeed talked, but she could keep many secrets.
The rest of the trip was all a golden glazed blurr in her mind. She would later walk back and admire it thoroughly, but for now she simply walked forward to the end of the hall. They paced another set of guards at another golden door. Seeing that the new girl wasn't alone and that she was with a medical professional must of set the guards minds at ease. For they let them in much quicker than the last set had let Drain and her past. Or maybe really they were told to expect a wolf in sheep's clothing, an expression which here means a girl who was in Asgardian gear, but did not look like she belonged. And she didn't for the matter, not yet anyway. That would all change as she adapted.
The dining hall looked like the rest of the palace, gold, sparkling and overall extravagant looking. There were other people present, doing what one would assume was done in a dinning hall. They were eating, talking, and milling about searching for companions or somewhere to seat. Suddenly Lucy felt very small, and extremely awkward. She had never been in this kind of environment and it was overwhelming. "Um, ok, so what do I do?" she asked the small, blonde-haired female at her side. She tried to keep her eyes looking as if she were calm and not panicking.

    Ooc:

Ic: Blinking her amber eyes slowly, the young handmaiden noticed Lucy had quieted. Perhaps she'd been a bit rude. She continued along with her companion, briskly upon her feet, steps light. She was happy to have gone to get her meal with her companion, that way she wouldn't be stuck with just sitting quietly by herself. Not that she minded, just the fact company would be nice for a change. The blonde was a bit of a loner herself. She was beginning to feel a bit mousy again. When they entered the hall, she took a deep breath, the numerous aromas of food light on the air. Perhaps she was just a bit hungry. "Ah, my apologies. I'll show you to where the meals are selected." She led Lucy to a large table, in which numerous breakfast dishes were served. "I know it seems unconventional to put all the food in one place, but everyone seems to agree with the idea." She paused, as if remembering something. "Please, help yourself."
